A really pleasant surprise in the center of Eger. The design of the place is cool, view towards the main square, very good coffee and great food. Fine dining like dishes, quality ingredients and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely going back to this place.

Great. It’s a beautiful spot right in the centre of town — with a view to the castle and the dome of Eger. Serves excellent food for breakfast and brunch, also the teas and juices were great. It’s owned by Dr Csernus — a well-know author of books in psychology, and lover of great spirits. They have an excellent selection of high quality rums ans whiskeys, also available in their hometown of Noszvaj next by.

We had the bundaskenyér and the scrambled eggs, satisfied with both of them. Coffee is also good.

They offer the type of coffe that exactly matches my taste. My choice was a classic Depresso (espresso volume). Price is not the lowest but its absolutely worth it. The service is nice, the place is big and cosy.

We really enjoyed our time in Despresso. We were there 3 times within 2 days 🙃☺
The owner of this place the famous Dr. Imre Csernus, the very honest psychologist.

☕IT IS NOT ONLY A CAFÉ, but FINE DINING as well 👍you can eat tasty breakfast there in the morning until 11:30 and then they serve delicious lunch. They change the menu in every 3 months.

☕i love when places have tables in the window and these windows are floor-to-ceiling. My favorite

☕you can pay by card and with cash
☕sometimes the place is very busy so it is better to book a table.
☕during good weather you can sit also outside
☕prices are bit high for Eger, this level is more usual in Budapest
☕they write on the menu under each food what kind of wine they offer for that. It is written in blue, it is very creative i love this.

We tried breakfast (american pancakes, bagel) coffee, lunch and soft drinks. All of them were very good.

Great atmosphere, quality coffee and bakery. This place has one of the best view of the castle in town. Nice place for jus a coffee or a meeting as well.

Great food, service and gin selection

Excellent food, great choice of drinks, warmhearted staff!!! One of the best places for a breakfast, or for some drinks.

We ate eggs with Ham, scrabbled eggs, quiche lorraine, Ham sandwich with mustard, milk and coffe, Orange juice. 22 euro Brought în 10 minutes.Everything was very good.

Food and coffee is really nice. I am not a coffee freak but coffee freaks say that its really special here. Service was perfect. Toilet is clean. Friendly place, great location.

It is a beautiful coffe house, with nice atmosphere, excellent music and a very kind staff! The Vanilla, orange cappuchino was delicious! I loved it, highly recomended!

Depresso's breakfast is a MUST have when you are in Eger. The staff is caring and friendly and the food/coffee is exceptional. We most definitely will be back!

I really enjoyed having dinner here with my family. The place is dog friendly and well suited for a night out as well. The service and staff if brilliant, while we were there it started raining and they immediately gave us an indoors table, they even set the new table exactly as it was outside. Outstanding. Thank you very much for the brilliant service. Well done!

Best coffee i've had so far. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's very well worth it.

Suprisingly high quality, especially related to the price. The meals are interesting and very well made, like what would be expected of a high end restaurant.
