Municipal Beach

Paid admission, around 3.5 eur for an adult ticket (half price after 6 pm, free after 7 pm), but worth it. The beach has all kinds of amenities, great fir kids, safe and clean. Tebds to be crowded, but the star of the beach is a 150 year old, renovated bathing island with a cafe that offers an unique, more peaceful experience.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. At least at this time of the year. I guess this is already out of season, because the entrance was free and most of the cafe's at the beach were closed. Still it was great to have a walk and dip our feet in the lake Balaton. The water was pleasant and quite clean actually.

Love swimming here, you have to pay to get in but it's worth it. You have a section of the Balaton, with optional extras like hiring Pedolo boats, kayaks and paddle boards. Also you have trampolining, crazy golf and other activities and competitions like table tennis tournament and Frisbee throwing. There is a good selection of places to eat, drink and shop for essential beach gear. Very clean, spacious with lots to do and see. Great fun!

I love Varosi Strand. There's everything one needs for a perfect experience at the beach. Spacious changing room, clean toilets, places to buy drinks and food, and souvenirs. The park around the beach is beautiful! There is also a swimming pool, but it wasn't working when I visited, as the season is almost over. Water is great for swimming!
All in all, warmly recommended! My favorite place in Keszthely!

Green beach, not too many people - there's always a lot of free space around. The water is not crystal transparent, but is clean (no smell). Very shallow - 50m from beach still less than 170cm deep.

Nice beach, great especially for children. You can find there lot of restaurants, bars and fast foods, as well as many activities for everyone.

Find it a bit pricey though overall.

Don't forget to carry mosquito repellent because after 6 o'clock in the evening there are a lot of mosquitoes

Loads of things to do, pedal boats and arcades and places to eat, but just floating or swimming in the lake is fun too. Pricey to enter but you can stay all day.

Yes you will have to pay to get in but that is the local way. But it's only a pound or so and it keeps the space clean, tidy and relatively safe.

Food and shops everywhere - good atmo - beach is friendly for kids and also older people - but there was snake in the water so hearthattack for me :D :D

Very nice and beautiful beach. Nice shops inside to eat and enjoy a cold beverage. Outside there are souvenirs for tourists. Good prices and yummy food. You don't need a ticket now to enter. Nice and pretty.

Relaxing place with good infrastructure. The only minus is that there is no depth of the lake. You need to walk quite a long and the water will still be at the height of your thighs. For kids - perfect. So recommended for family rest.
