I recently visited SPAR szupermarket and was impressed with the diverse range of high-quality products. The store itself is nice, and has everything you need for your day to day life. There are always long lines unfortunately. The cashiers should speak better English considering the number of tourists that shops at this location.

Looks rather tiny, but is in fact bigger. Good selection of food and drink items. Bakery items available as well.

One of the best around especially for foreigners. A larger than usual range of meat, breads and diary products with good wine and household necessities. Queues not too long and no self service which can be a trail for non Hungarian speakers.

Smaller than north American supermarkets, but great selection, fresh buns, plenty of different items, and god friendly service, even when they do NOT understand my questions (I wanted some pollen, and later, walnut brandy). I shall continue to deal with these people.

Aghgh - wish I'd discovered this place on my first day, not my last. Just ate a microwave boxed meal better than the local restaurants serve. Good choice of everything I needed.

An easily accessible store that has everything you might need for your everyday grocery shopping. Fresh meat and baked goods are always available. It also sells minor household equipment.

One of the biggest SPAR's I've found around here- great selection and fast checkout, no matter how busy they are

On the main street Terez Korut, great selection of pastries, rolls and bread

Great place to get all the essentials cheap beer and snacks . Open all hours spot on

You can buy here already cooked food.

Spars in Budapest are all good . I always shop there ☺
