Lake Balaton

One of the best places to visit in summer.
They have really clean and beautiful lake.

It has everything like bike lanes, walking lanes, so many tree’s around and lots of restaurants available.

You can also take e-jet rides if interested or rented yacht and boats are always available

The first time I came here and Lake Balaton left me a good impression. There was a wine festival when we arrived in the park near Balaton and the atmosphere was very nice.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! It's the 2nd time we spend summer here in Zamardi. It's so safe for the kids, the lake is clean, and super warm, the toilets are clean, there are changing facilities every 20 meters, the stretch of grass around the lake is fantastic with lots of beautiful trees giving plenty of shadow. Bring your little tent and your picnic blanket and enjoy the sun! There are also so many activities for the kids, such as a floating water playground, pedalin, electric cars, buggy car, trampolim, Sandy playgrounds. It's just fabulous really. Food is also delicious! The only downside is there are very little stuff written in English. Most is Hungarian or German. Other than that is just the perfect place for a family holiday. 🌞

Siófok is a town in county somogy, it is the second largest municipality in Hungary after Budapest. On the bank of lake Balaton.
It serves as the most important logistic station for goods between Lake Balaton and the River Danube.
Very attractive and wonderful place to relax in nature. Breathing taking view of sky and Lake Balaton. It is the major tourist attraction in Hungary. Must visit to capture the memories of life time.

Perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

One of the biggest lakes in Europe. So many little towns around the lake to visit, as well as castles and forts and hot springs and parks and just a plethora of recreational things. If you like cycling there’s a beautiful path way that encompasses the entire length but it’s not something you’d manage on one day.

The Hungarian sea as it is called, lake Balaton is pretty special as the water levels are perfect, it is the favourite destination for all Hungarians during summer so in case you are driving there on a weekend expect delays.
It is nice place to relax and enjoy your family and friends.

One word - Awesomeeeee. Cities Tihany and Siofok are amazing. In Siofok you'll have feeling like you are in some city near the sea. It's mostly attractive to younger people because of night life. Worth of visiting!

Balaton is almost 50 miles long and 10 miles wide at its widest point. It's a freshwater lake. Many of the beach resorts along the shoreline are geared up to cater for children with playgrounds, sports pitches and paddle boats. It’s a beautiful place and worth to see it.

The perfect place when escaping from the city life. There are a lot of things to do here: sailing, wind surfing, fishing or simply jogging by the lake side. There is also a nearby airport that offers skydiving. Prices of the apartments vary. People are friendly and hospitable. May is the best month to visit Lake Balaton for it is not crowded, hotels and apartments are cheap, and the weather is just fine.

Perfect place for refreshing and have water fun. Very clean and with restaurants and lake beaches.

I can't even describe how windy the drive was, the plains of Croatia and into Hungary gave no protection and I struggled to keep the van central in the lane. It was unlike any wind I've seen or felt before and the journey on the viaducts were pretty scary. But things settled down and we drove past the beautiful Balaton "sea" (a rather large lake!)
