Bab Cafe

This is our favourite speciality coffee shop in Balatonalmadi. The coffee is excellent, they make food indoors, have their own recepies, so the food is delicious as well. The music is great and the people are just so kind and helpful. It is the best place to start a bike ride.

There is nothing bad about this place, the coffee and the food I ordered was great, the owner was kind, the atmosphere was great, highly recommend this cafe.

Café Bab is a very cute place to have your breakfast or eat a good sandwich from 11am. Relax a bit, work or have a date with the special one ☺

We were there for dating and the service and variety of food was magical.

☕we tried the maracuja cake and the salty caramell tart - both of them were DELICIOUS and well-decorated on the plate that I really love

☕ they have several coffees, we went for their “almádi ízei” specialty - it is a long coffee 3times stronger than an espresso, it is mixed taste with crushed almond, lemon grass. We had to wait a bit the ingredients to be soaked. It was very aromatic and strong

The winter specials were especially delicious. We tried chestnut and pistachio. They were kind and helpful. It's a very cute coffee bar.

I can't tell you much about the food here, but the coffee was good and the place is really like how you imagine a coffee shop, where people go have a chat with friends, but if they are alone, they can also spend some relaxing time, by reading a book from the shelf or just staring to one of the paintings that you can even by. I loved this place and definitely want to go back to try their food as well.

Simply love it here. Always friendly people, no matter if it is the waiter at the table, the waitress behind the cash machine, or the cook in the back.
They all love dogs, have a helping attitudes and are open for a little chat.

The omelette is wonderful and perfect after a walk at or a swim in the lake.
