Great Forest Park

A true forest turned into a park. The lake area is incredibly nice!!

In my opinion this is the best part of Debrecen. In one park you have everything you can imagine- aqua park, shops, restaurants, tower, zoo and university. Picturesque park to walk around with a pond that has amazing fishes and turtles.

Access is easy but not so much parking. We were lucky to find a place to park in the underground parking garage.

Such an amazing park! Landscaped to perfection and very well looked after! It was nice having a stroll around, but many people and locals were also sitting on benches and on the grass. In fact, there were so many people just on a mid-of-week spring late afternoon. Would definitely recommend a walk in the area when in Debrecen.

Perfect park I have seen. It's like an matryoshka, one park within the other, side by the forest and closer to the university! Relaxing & enjoying the sunshine, watching the fishes, ducks and fountains! It's also a park near the concert place!

Beautiful park, if you want take a rest ,just go there , dog friendly, it has a restaurant, highly recommended it

It is a beautiful park, wide, a lot of branches and magical corners, flowers, ducks and of course the forest itself!

If you visit Debrecen you must visit this park. It's just beautiful, calm, relaxing but full of People. You can go during the morning or during the night, it's alawasy beautiful! The most beautiful part of Debrecen is that it's full of nature, from the airport till this beautiful park.

I lived in Debrecen for a year, and loved this place! In all four seasons, it's gorgeous! So peaceful, with several different trees, and right in front of Debrecen University. You may take really nice pics there and have a great time!

Beautiful park in the heart of the city. A little oasis on a hot summer day.

Probably the best park in this region, it is a lovely place to either come alone, or with a friend, or with family. Fountains and a lot of trees, including natural paths in the forest increase the appeal of this place. You could come here with a book, or to have a party. It could do with more activities to do, though.

My serene chill spot where I can read a few chapters watch the ducks wading in the pond across... Introspection while the fountains buzz.. Meet mates. Party once in a while or just stare at strangers and smile at non English speakers who wanna bond in the 🌙⏰💤💤 night.
Take a stroll once in a while, unwind and stay hydrated. Cheers!

Incredible park. Very walkable. Lots of bird species and flowers. Very well maintained.

Best spot in Debrecen to relax, spend afternoon and enjoy to the nature and fresh air. In every season it has its own beauty. In autumn you can be amazed with the colour harmony of autumn leaves, in winter you can feel the sweet cold and wilderness of nature, in spring you can witness the awakening of the nature and in summer there is no words to describe :) Only bad side of the park is that its crowded in afternoon hours and frog pond is quite smelly in hot days.

It's a lovely place, perfect for a walk. I really love the way is built with trees in the sidewalk.

Very nice park. Ideal for rest and relaxation

Beautiful place worth the time we spent there. Very peaceful, calm, with great fountain (with ducks) and big playground for children. If I was studying in Debrecen probably this would be my place to study.

Nice park to relax with concessions nearby. The forest extends for miles to the north for hiking and running.
