Gili Mood Local Eatery

Absolutely delicious food. We stayed on the Gili Air only for 3 days and we went here to eat everyday. We were really sad we weren't able to taste everything from the menu. We recommend especially the chicken curry, yummy!

This place has, incredible value food for money. The food quality was very high but the price is excellent. I had the pop fried fish which was good but be warned, it comes with an extremely spicy salsa which can take you by surprise if you're not expecting it. Portion sizes are very good too. Highly recommended!

The best dining experience we've had in a month in Indonesia. The food was so delicious, the setting is rustic and comfortable, the service was friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. A must-visit when on Gili Air. Highly recommend the vegetable rendang!

Really fresh and tasty local food! I loved the authentic ambience and kind service. I would highly recommend for a great local meal to get a taste of Gili / Lombok flavors. The Pelecing Lombok (Lombok special food) was unique with lots of fresh veggies, and the Sasak Rendang tofu was very flavorful especially dipped in the side sauce. Such a sweet vibe here and a beautiful lunch.

Just trust yr navigation but do not look for the name Gili Mood as you will not find it. They changed their name and did not change it on Google I giess ;-). I was a bit afraid that it would be a new restaurant and not the 4.9 rating one but was happily surprised. A nice selection of Lombok dishes. Give them all a try but go for the Rendang beef first! This one is legend. The place is nothing fancy but all you would expect from a top warung

The staff are super friendly, there’s a few good vegan options on the menu and they do fantastic big coconuts! I’m travelling solo and came back several times as I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the food is yummy! Can’t recommend enough!

Best place to eat in Gili air! You must try tuna steak, its amazing! Prices are very reasonable!

Phenomenal place, amazing local food, amazing prices, great staff, great atmosphere, absolutely love it. Perfect for the 1 hour stop on most snorkelling trips. Will be visiting again.

Located in the local neighborhood, so authentic!
Bahar the owner, is a REALLY nice guy. Him and his team make you feel very welcome!
He even organized a private cooking class. SO COOL!
They also do delivery 😍
So if you want to taste the best good local food, it's the place to go.
Also their western food is awesome!

This little place is tucked away down a quiet alley but is well worth a visit.

I love this place. I haven't been in a restaurant that is so nice place to be there. Food is awesome, very big portions, served in a fancy way. Affordable for anyone. Owner is doing his best to make you comfortable and feel like home. 🥰

Authentic Indonesian food with local touch. Ordered beef rendang + gado2 which was freshly cooked by order.

Everything was perfect also priced well. Would recommend to anyone looking for local delicacies to come here!

Believe the hype!! They have recently changed their name to to Be Sastra but the food is just as good as the previous ‘Gili Mood’ reviews say! The Rendang curry was unbelievable good, presentation is so sweet and such kind friendly people! Support local and eat here when visiting Gili Air

This place has a passion. Very tasty and big portions. Excellent service with so much positive energy. Strongly recommend, so far best place on Gili Air.

We stayed in Gili Air for 4nights and have eaten at Gili Mood 2times during that time. Everything we tried were delicious and the restaurant is just super authentic.
The fruit juices and vegetable curry are amazing!

Maybe the best food we had so far in Indonesia (and we are travelling 3 months already). Very authentic food with so much flavour and very cheap. Especially the Tofu Rendang was next level. We'll come again!
