Ciao Hostel

Perfect place for taking pictures of the sunset. Great food. A little bit far away from downtown…. But they own a mini bus that comes and goes every now and then.

This hostel is perfect for backpackers. The view from every room is directly heading to the sea. The rooms are all clean. It's also the best spot to see the sunset from its rooftop, beautiful. It's not so close to harbour but there are shuttle trucks that are ready to pick up and transfer you to the town from morning up to the evening. This hostel also provides movies every night started from 9 pm.

Best hostel ever. You must book the rooftop room and see the view when you wake up in the morning. It is so beautiful. And this is the best place to see sunset. The room is clean and tidy. The hostel crew is very friendly and helpful. And the food is great. Very recommended.

Best value for hostel! The open-air dorm room on the top floor has amazing view! You can sleep with beautiful night view and wake up with breath-taking island sceneries from afar. They have restaurant that serves good quality meals with decent price and good spot for sunset. One thing, it's quite hilly to reach the hostel. Good thing they offer free shuttle to/from airport and downtown. Though you can walk to the city center for 15-20 min.

Overall very nice hostel with great view and comfy bed. I felt safe here. The staff is also very nice and informative. Free shuttle bus to the city and airport. The prices are however super high compared to other hostels that also offer breakfast. The restaurant is also way more expensive than what you would pay in the city.

This hostel give me new experiences of staying. The view was amazing. Imagine when you wake up, you directly see this view!!
You could see the mountain during the day and the night, you could enjoy the sunrise and the sunset.
You could see everything from your room.
I would recommend you to stay at the third floor (top floor).

All the toilets are located outside rooms. It’s a public toilet where everyone can use. The toilets are clean.
They also have restaurant at the second floor. I didn’t have a chance to eat there unfortunately.

Anyway they usually play a Netflix movie every evening at 9PM at the lobby. You could watch there while drinking or killing time with your friends!

One of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Best views in town. Cinema nights, free shuttle to town, free shuttle to airport, rooftop bar. They have everything here you need for exploring the area.

Couple of little negatives, my Mosquito net was broken but didn’t have a problem with bites despite the massive opening to the sea view. Also food could have been better, I’d probably eat in town next time

Great hostel and affordable price.
The view from this hostel is very amazing with sea view on the front of hostel. Hotels facilities are good too, it provide towels, the toilets and bathroom super clean and there's also hot shower to relief stress.
It also provide movie night at certain times and shuttle every 1 hours. The shuttle pick up/dropp off in airport and certain pick up/drop off point.
The minus point is the limited shuttle. There's only one in this hostels and it operate in every hour, so in peak season time maybe you need to wait longer for the line up to get the shuttle.

Great hostel! They offer free pick up and drop off in town and to the airport. The hostel is huge with board games in the main reception and a rooftop bar. It's a little way out of town but it has great views and with the free pick-up it doesn't really matter. Would definitely recommend.

This hostel is fantastic! I understand it owned by an Italian man who now has Indonesian passport etc. And it shows, because the hostel is well thought out, great showering and toilet facilities, spacious, clean rooms with fully working aircon, lockers and luggage storage for those taking boat trips!!

They have a great view for sunset sunrise a the top of a hill overlooking Labuan Bajo, but fear not they have a free shuttle to and from both the airport and the town center, just ask the friendly staff at reception! Would stay here again!

Amazing hostel! Loved it there. Everybody was nice and friendly, and the owner is a very cool guy. The restaurant is also very nice, try the burger is great! My travel companion and I came back after 1 week, because we just fell in love with the place. The pictures are from the restaurant at sunset.

Staff here are extremely friendly. One baked a cake for my travel buddy's birthday. Great view, nice to be outside if town. Beds could be comfier and the breakfast is underwhelming, but the classic I do dishes are great (better than a lot of spots in town)

Great hostel, very friendly staff, excellent shuttle into town which was very reliable.
View from the 12 bed dorm is absolutely stunning! Free water refills, good strong WiFi. Able to arrange tours from front desk. Perfect for travellers.

Very cool hostel. Quite expensive in my opinion(even more than hostels in Australia). The WiFi worked quite well, free drinking water, AC in rooms, every night there is a cinema which was very cool. Great views from top decks especially for sunsets. Free shuttle transport from/to airport and town. They offer a tours to Komodo NP and other stuff.

Great hostel with the best view of the sunset in Town! You can get a room with ac, or you can get a bed on the top floor that's open air. de careful if you're a light sleeper, the mosque nearby plays music at 4am every day. Reasonably priced beer but the food is a little expensive.

Pros: Amazing view, friendly staff, good AC in the rooms, large common spaces, free yoga classes, free shuttle into town/ airport, free mineral water, quiet at night, fastest wifi in Indonesia I've found, free movies at night.
Cons: only cold water in shower, big hill to get back to the hostel, in house restaurant is not that great, no free breakfast, and the hostel sponsored day trip to Komodo was pretty bad. I'd recommend staying at this hostel (the view really is awesome) but I'd plan on eating elsewhere and book your trips with someone else.
Edit: we had a problem diving and had to extend our stay. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful with our situation. I'd definitely come back here.

Pros:
Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Clean and comfy room. They have a lot of toilets, including hot shower, toilet, and normal shower (yes its separated) also, the water pressure is good enough. We checked in around 8 / 9 PM, they tried to call and email me but i didnt answer, but they still hold my room which is really good.

Contras:
the "pizza" at the restaurant is tasteless. food abit pricey. poor wifi signal on the room.

Very nice place, facilities are awesome. With hot and cold showers available. Enough showers and toilets for everybody. Beds are ok, only no curtains. They have movie night every night which is nice and also a restaurant on the 2nd floor. Rooftop where you can chill and a shuttle that can bring you to the centre.

Beautiful hostel with a great view. Really clean and nice staff. HOT SHOWERS!!! Nice restaurant in the building, a bit pricey but apart from that all good. A bit off a rough path leading up to the hostel going by scooters but all in all a really good experience
