Sarangan Lake

One of a great place to spend the holiday with family. My advise is to visit here in workdays because every weekend will be really crowded. Bring the umbrella with you because the sun heat might be too much and just in case there will be rain. The horse ride is really worth to enjoy, as there are fixed price of it. The same like speedboat ride you can have it in a group with fixed price. There are many instant photographer in that area which only IDR 15,000 but really meaningful to keep the moment everlast.

Beautiful scenery, cold. Chill and enjoy here

This place is very cool and has beautiful scenery especially in the morning. We can see the lawu mountain so close from here. They provides speed boat just to enjoy the lake. They people are very nice, the ticket is 19K for a person. We can ride a horse to look around the lake also. It cost only 80K for a person.

A beautiful tourist destination. Its a lake surrounded by residential areas and stalls and trees. It is a very natural tourist attraction. There are boat rentals and horse riding here that we can get by paying 60 thousand rupiah. Many kiosks that in here sell food, clothing, and even fruits. The price of food here is also quite cheap. Many villas around here are also rented for families or backpackers. The area is far from the city because we have to climb mountains, pass through the valley, hahaha, I don't mean that... But we really have to pass the mountain (if our journey is from the solo city/central java) and it has an amazing view from the above. We can see the clouds in our journey. In the winter season, the weather is cold in here.

Nice place to visit with your family. Visited in 2018 and wish to visit again some day.

Sarangan Lake is a great tourist resort with a beautiful lake on the slopes of Mt. Lawu in Magetan Regency, East Java Province. Cool and fresh air. Beautiful view to the lake and green hills. The lake is surrounded by a road with lodgings, food shops and restaurants. Horse riding and speed boat trips are offered. Lodgings with double beds and hot water for bathing are plenty, with rates starting around IDR 150,000.-. Delicious rabbit satay is a signature of this place. At night it's dark and deserted, and can be chilly cold, but visitors can take a walk or ride around the lake and enjoy hot foods and drinks at the food shops.

The most beautiful place i've ever seen. I visited this cold place twice. If you visit this place, don't forget to buy rabbit satay and fresh strawberry☺

The view and scenery is beautiful. The maintenance was good but the visitor lack of the cleaness. The price for the speedboat is 180 rb for 3 times around, 50 rb for the motorboat for one round. To horse riding we must pay 70 rb. There some stall which sell fresh vegetables, clothing and resto. The ticket price is 20 rb for adult and 10 rb for children.

A nice place to spend your time with friends or family. The view is calming. You can eat and chill enjoying the beautiful view here. If you like something more fun, they have speed boats! I tried it and it was super fun! The speed boats driver will take you around the lake and will go on a very full speed which makes you scream and want more. The nice driver will take a photo for you in the middle of the lake (look at my photo).

Hungry? There a lots of food you can get. You can find a full meal or a fresh veggies and fruits. I highly recommend you to buy the fruits. Omg the strawberries are fresh and taste really good. Basically, all the veggies and fruits here look super fresssh. If you came from a big city you should try their fresh veggies and fruits, it tastes different.

I'll recomend all of you to visit this place for a weekend getaway when you have a plan to explore tawangmangu and another nearby areas. I'll suggest you to come over on rainny season, coz when you take a speedboat trip, it wont be bumpy

Sarangan Lake is surrounded by mountains no wonder if the air is very chill. Many attractions you can try while you were here such as riding horses and may be you can try Speed Boat if you wanted some adrenaline rush. Ask the speedboat driver about the wind and the wave condition, and if it's all good condition you can ask if they will let you drive the speed boat. I tell you driving speed boat is a must thung to do while you were here. There is a market too along the side road, if you were looking for some souvenirs you can try to bargain some of the stall. Try the hotel too, there are many building offers a cheap place to sleep too.

Sarangan Lake is located in Magetan on the slopes of Mount Lawu. It is 16 kilometers from Magetan city. Or only 5 km from Tawangmangu. We can go to this area by using private vehicles or by public transportation. This lake is located at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level, with an area of approximately 30 ha, and a water depth of up to 28 meters. The main attraction of this area lies in the lake. Where, we can rent a boat in this lake for only 50 thousand rupiah. besides that, the atmosphere in the nest is very cold and cool. The access road to the Sarangan Lake is quite safe and wide. The ticket price for entering this area is 15 thousand rupiah. Coupled with the parking fee for cars of 7 thousand rupiahs and motorbikes of 5 thousand rupiahs. Prices can be considered balanced with an area that can be enjoyed together with the family. For those who need lodging. Around the lake, there are many inns and homestays with various prices according to the facilities you will get.

Best tourisom loction in telaga sarangan had the small river here boat riding and horse riding and cycle riding with very cold place in night time and many more gift shop and children games and good food corner... Etc etc

Nice spot with speed boat, horse, so many souvenir shop, losmen/hostel. You can eat rabbit satay, etc. Really interesting, and this place is really cold better bring your jacket.
