The traditional market of tomok has its style instead of modern lifestyle. We'll see how the women, youngsters & elders, walk around the market. Veggies, fruits, herbs, clothes, seasonings etc are available. This market nearby the old tomb of Toba & Sigale Gale dancing avenue as well

I like this place because it's literally the central of Samosir's tourist attractions. People here are nice. They provide lots of good stuffs and the price is actually a little expensive here but it's OK.

There're lots of delicious food stalls serve many delicious cuisine of Samosir. Grilled Pork and Dog's meat are the most common one but there're also Halal food stalls for muslims travelers.

The souvenirs here are awesome. Most are authentic to Toba and Batak. Ulos is a must. You have to have ulos. I'll reccomend you to get to this particular souvenir store in Tomok, there're pictures of me, my friends, and the store owner in my galery. She'll give you discount if you show her this picture for sure.

these sellers has to realize, that hard cash is no longer the only way to have received from buying customers. there are other way accept money, they can use to diversify business
