The chicken is marinated with spices and deep fried well, at the same time the sambal chilli enhance the chicken to another level. Super love it! Love the fried tofu and tempeh too! I’m super delighted to find the fried tofu here that reminds me a lot of stinky tofu without the stink. it’s crisp on the outside n oh so juicy on the inside, pair it with the chilli sambal and it’s perfect! we could not have enough of it and ordered a second portion. Love the tempeh here too, it’s fresh tempeh here without the usual aroma that we get at the supermarket. After so many days of eating in Yogyakarta, this is the most authentic meal i have! This is the sambal chilli that I am searching for 😍 . As this place is situated in the outskirts of the city and pretty rural area, highly recommend that you ask your driver to wait for u while u finish your meal.

We went to this place on evening. Seats are mostly available, spacious space, very quick service. You get your meals in a minute. There is an fish cake stall in the corner, apart from the main restaurant.
Just need to replace their current lights with the brighter ones.

One of the best fried chicken I've ever had. With its traditional taste, the spices in the chicken was very delicious. You can tell that the restaurant only uses the best quality of ingredients.
It's very crowded at lunch hour, so the serving time will be longer. Try to come before or after that time.

The waiter didn't inform anything about the chicken size, so they served (i think) the biggest size they have🙃. The chicken is not so tender, more like athletic chicken. Taste savory, different from usual sweet bacem chicken.

Yummy food, serve fast. Chicken is big one is enough. The lombok ijo very spicy yet delicous. Match with chicken n rice. Fried tofu n tempe very delicous. Recomen kunyir asam for the drink.

Anyway, all the chicken is "free range Javanese Chicken", they're not cultured on a cage, just natural grown chicken. Lovely!

There are 2 buildings. It is separated but actually it is the same seller. The parking area is quite big. The food is good especially if you like ayam goreng that is not crispy. The chicken is big, they use ayam kampung but the chicken meat is very tender. The price depends on how big is the chicken. It is around 30-45k per piece. There is 2 kind of sambals. The spicy one and not spicy.

Traditional Javanese fried chicken. Absolutely marvelous. A whole chicken is enough for 4, with everything, and it's genuine finger lickin good. A bit out of the way, but it's my Jogja favourite.

The restaurant is really famous. I think this is one of best of serving Javanese fried chicken in Yogyakarta. I really enjoy it and I think that all the culinary tourists will love it also. Highly recommended.

Tasty fried kampong chicken (the size was so big compare to usual kampong chicken), stir-fry veggies, not too spicy sambal, fragrant rice, very cheap price! Love it!

The chicken were marinated so well. We choose free range chicken which enough for 2 people, and it was so good. Not to oily, very well done one 🫶🏻
We also order eggplant, tempeh and tofo as side dish. And oh my god their masterpiece is ofc sambel. Feeling nostalgic with comfort food. It called sambel korek, and one of the best sambel here in jogja. They also have musholla, and the parking spot is so huge that you dont have to be afraid not getting one. Def worth the way 🥺

Place are spacious, live music the band so good especially when they play jogjakarta song. Food are obviously tasty, im in love with the chicken! their iced beras kencur is refreshing. Unfortunately kerupuk in our table is bad already aka melempem and apek.

Come here with your family or friends is good. Coz in here you must prepare your stomach first for big portion of menu. The sauce sambal is so hot Like syahrini

The place is quite far from the city center. Generally, popular culinary attractions are located in the middle of the city, but not with this place. In fact, the visitors are full. The fried chicken is delicious, especially added with papaya leaves, tofu, tempe, fresh vegetables, chilli sauce, plus sweet iced tea, so filling especially the portion of 1 piece of fried chicken is really big.

The fried chicken is very good, there are sambel the red sambel n the authentic sambel (more spicy), the have speciality drink like jamu beras kencur, wedang uwuh.
