Turtle Conservation Community Nipah Beach

The people working here are very passionate about their project (quite a few of them are fluent in English, so feel free to converse with them), and if you come at the right time, you can help them bury turtle eggs or even release a turtle into the sea. The area also has snorkeling facilities if you wish to swim with the turtles.

It is located in between food stalls. It was nice to see locals put their efforts to help these turtles. I managed to talk to one of the local, and he shared what they do to help these turtles.

Amazing project! Welcomed with open arms, released some turtles for a very reasonable donation. Volunteer speaks English very well and even took us on a free snorkelling tour between the big turtles. We had a wonderful day for the price of a cocktail. Would recommend to drop by!

The staff is very kind and showed us the turtles.
One of them also went snorkeling with us to show us the bigger turtles. Really nice, would recommend.

Went there with my wife and was greeted by very friendly staff. He told us about the turtles and the reef restoration project.

Afterwards he joined us on our snorkeling trip and showed us a lot of turtles.

Amazing little turtle conservation centre that focuses on releasing as many turtles as possible back into the wild once they're strong enough.
All volunteer run and Darwin, one of the volunteers, was able to tell us so much all about the work they do and the effect the centre has had. Drop by and donate a bit to their efforts.

Love it. There's a local guy who cares for these little cute creatures. It's free. Just give a donation to help them take care of their environment.

Must visit if you want to taste a grilled fish and quiet beach.

Selagi sedang di Pantai Nipah, ada baiknya mampir ke tempat konservasi penyu ini. Semoga habitat dan konservasi penyunya terus bertahan dan menjadi contoh baik untuk tempat-tempat lainnya. Ada kotak donasi yang bisa diisi, untuk terus mendukung keberlanjutan konservasi penyu di Pantai Nipah.

Pantai pasir putih yang bersih, dengan fasilitas tempat duduk kayu yg bagus, estetik dan nyaman, plus ada Sarana Canoing dengan safety vest yg baik...serta ada penyewaan snorkling dan ban buat anak2, ada pula perahu yg bisa disewa untuk berkeliling pantai....Fasilitas Mandi dan Toilet yg baru hasil bantuan dari pihak Pertamina...bagus banget...Konservasi penyu yg sustainable dan bagus programnya

Salah satu tempat konservasi yang ada di lombok dengan lokasi yang ada di Dusun Nipah,anggotanya sangat friendly dengan menjelaskan begitu jelas tentang konservasi penyu ini,disini bisa melakukan aktivitas mengubur telur penyu👍🏻

So ein tolles Projekt! Unbedingt besuchen & etwa spenden 🐢

Een klein project dat draait op vrijwilligers. Chapeau voor. At ze doen. Ze redden de eieren van het strand, onderwijzen de bevolking, zetten we schildpadden uit, maken het strand mooi, etc de moeite van een bezoekje en donatie waard!

Asyik tempat nongkrong menikmati sunset. Kalau lagi pas untuk snorkeling, siapa tahu bisa dapat penyu yang sedang makan

Prachtige opvang locatie voor schildpadjes, hebben zelfs een paar uit mogen zetten, geen kosten aan verbonden, alleen een vrijwillige bijdrage die deze schildpadden en vrijwilligers verdienen.

Keren bangett, pantainya bersih dan aman tentunya 👍
