Fantastic site to visit! The very heritage of authentic India at work here. The storytelling on the inner wall of the palace is, although on some places damaged, still beautiful and rich with detail.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in the history between India and the English.

Very nice place to feel in India 240 years ago. Our rich culture, brave and kind Sultan beautiful art work & modern engineering in ancient India. The beautiful guardian gives a feeling of nature. A small place to explore, love & feel.

It's a very good place to see the oil paintings, water paintings in wall. We can see also their used things as well as the photos of Kings and their battle fields. No selfie and video but we can take photos of the aurnoments and paintings.

There is a lot of open space which is now a lawn and a great garden.

The Tipu Sultan summer Palace now a museum have a great display of antiques and medieval weapons ,display of art and a miniature model of tipu’s fort this palace includes a very beautiful loan and tree which are aesthetically pleasing Here there is a entry fee which have to be paid through online.

A masterpiece of art in the midst of a serene landscape. Many paintings and few belongings of Tipu sultan are also displayed here. Tickets can be purchased online only from the displayed qr code. Wheelchair is available, no guide or audio guide is available.

A treat for history buffs, well maintained place with information Signboards placed at all the paintings, sketches and souvenirs.
The ticketing system is online, and there are guards to help out with the ticketing.
Ticket cost is very reasonable at Rs.20/- per person.
Only issues was the absence of clean toilets and the only toilets available are charged at Rs.5/- per person.

7. 4 wars in total . First 2 won by Hyder and tipu and 3rd and 4th by British
8. 3rd he was defeated because both maratha and Nizam joined with British. He even had to give his two sons to British

It's a beautiful space. You'll have to book tickets online once you get there and you're not allowed to click pictures of yourself inside the palace/museum. Try and be respectful of the rules.

Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace in Srirangapatna is also known as Dariya Daulat Bagh. It was built between 1778 and 1784 as a summer retreat for the former ruler of Mysuru, Tipu Sultan. The palace is located in the small town of Srirangapatna, which is 22 kilometers from Mysore. The palace is open 10 AM–6 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM–5:30 PM on Sundays. The Tipu Sultan Museum is located inside the palace. Parking available infront of the palace.

It's a nice palace ...though humble in looks. The walls are painted with wars fought by Tipu Sultan. The premises are huge.

Tipu Sultan summer palace is located in srirangapatnam appx 800 mtrs from Srirangapatnam bus stand
The place is surrounded by mango orchard. The trees are very old I couldn't guess the age . May be older than 100 years plus.

Once you enter the summer palace gate you witness two tome like structure housing large pigeons. on left and right side of the gate . This is pigeons post office . Tippu has very effective messaging through pigeons.

As you walk about 100 yards towards palace to your right hand side you witness huge tree must be older than 200 years you can see the same in photos attached

As you enter the palace you see the art work on walls made by using natural colours estracted from fruits , flowers and vegitables, the sealing hight is approximately 20 feet has no walls , the roff is supported by wodden pillers which are intact even today.

His armory has been displayed in this palace , some of his Guns are displayed
He is known as first ever missile man of East while Mysore kingdom. He was very good in his war tactics hence it was difficult for British to diffeat him.

You can see an SOP about word of commands for effective comand of his army written by him in parshian language .

Very peaceful place to visit and witness the technological know how people has in that erra and their effective use.

Nice place this is the property of Tippu sultan where his things used in Anglo Indian war is kept and the architecture tomb is pretty beautiful

It is a good place to visit but not necessary if you are visiting Mysore coz it's not such a big place to explore and if u miss this place then I don't think you missed a lot.
