Naduhole basappa Kaveri Kapila Sangama

This is one of the most sacred religious places in India.Tourists visit this place from all over India.This place is situated in Tirumakoodalu Narasipura.It is about 900-1000 meters away from the KSRTC bus stop,Tirumakoodalu Narasipura. The Kaveri river joins with the Kabini and Spatika rivers here.Until the Gunja Narasimha swamy temple, one can reach by vehicles.From there,one can reach this place using a raft played by the local people. Kumba mela is conducted once in 3 years.In 2019 February also it is planned to take place.Nearest railway stations are in Mysore,Nanjanagud and Chamarajanagar(about 30+ Kms).Nearest airport is Mandakalli airport (Mysore).

Kaveri and Kabini rivers join here. A river named Sphatika said to be born under the pillar of this Nandi statue. So this place is named after 3 rivers joining in this place in Kannada language 'Tiruma koodalu'.

This is the place where the River Kabini meets River Kaveri and one of the important places of pilgrimage along the banks of Kaveri. The confluence gives name for town near this as Tirumukudal Narasipura. The river Kaveri broadens its size from here as the confluence brings more water to downstream state of Tamil Nadu. Various temples are situated at this confluence.

Place where 3 Rivers meet. You can go to the spot by boat. You can clearly visualise the difference in color of Kaveri and Kapila river.
