Very good school and well maintained...i miss this so much. This is centeral government school runs under the ministry of human resource deapartment. This school is affliated with c.b.s.e.. I have enjoy this place. This is our second home at the age of 17. Lots of memory have this place .This school situated just near the Rajgir railway station. and bihar sharif- gaya road. Very big ground in this school. M. P. hall of this school is very big and beautiful. it is also deacorated with different type of painting and artisting.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Rajgir, Nalanda was established in 1987 in accordance with NPE, 1986. It is situated in a 20-acre plot in sylvan and serene surroundings with beautiful landscapes in Rajgir Town of District- Nalanda, Bihar State. The Vidyalaya is at a distance of 0 Km from Rajgir Station and 24 Km from Bihar Sharif District Headquarters.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are fully residential, co-educational schools affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi having classes up to 12 standard. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous Organization under the ministry of HRD, Government of India, manages these Vidyalayas. Admission to these Vidyalayas is through a test called JNVST to Class VI. Children are predominantly from rural areas and there is 30% reservation of girls. Quality modern education with a strong component of culture, promotion of National Integration through student migration between Hindi speaking ad Non-Hindi speaking states and following a three language formula with vernacular as medium of instruction up to Class-VIII are some of the salient features of this unique educational venture.
