Built in the 1870s, the fort has been meticulously preserved, allowing guests to experience the grandeur and charm of the past. One of the standout features of this homestay is the wonderful host. Their warm hospitality and extensive knowledge about the fort's history added depth to our stay. They made us feel like valued guests, ensuring our every need was met with a genuine smile and willingness to assist.

The homemade food served here was a culinary delight. Every meal was a masterpiece, showcasing local flavors and traditional recipes. The dining experience felt personal and authentic, making us appreciate the local cuisine even more.

The rooms in the fort are nothing short of regal. Each room exudes an aura of royalty, from the ornate furnishings to the attention to detail in the décor. Staying in these rooms truly made us feel like kings, surrounded by the elegance and splendor of a bygone era.

Additionally, the fort's surroundings were breathtaking. The picturesque views, combined with the historical significance of the site, created a serene atmosphere that allowed us to unwind and appreciate the beauty of nature.

In conclusion, this fort-turned-homestay is a hidden gem on Airbnb. For history enthusiasts, food lovers, and anyone seeking a luxurious yet authentic experience, this place is a must-visit. I cannot recommend this homestay enough! Tucked away on the Satluj, this fort overlooks the jungle and river, being an oasis from city life. The fort is historical, dating back to the Singhpuria misl, and is a must visit for anyone in search on Punjabi history. The owners of the stay have maintained their heritage, keeping the fort intact with stylish furniture that gives a glimpse of the past. The hospitality I received went above and beyond most residences, the owners extremely welcoming and helpful in accommodating my every need. The food they provide is delicious, and the room being extremely comfortable. You cannot find this level of hospitality, heritage, and history anywhere else in Punjab!

Stay in a fort was really nice. The Royal family is cooperative and polite. They told us the history of the fort. The buffet dinner is homemade. They have a wonderful bar also.

It is a very quaint place, located in a commanding position overlooking the Sutlej Canal.

1873 is when it was born and continues to be seeped in its rich heritage.

Warm hospitality and affectionate hosts laced with lovely food.
