Velankanni Lake Resort

Best location to stay.. A boathouse!
Well, I've come to velankanni for so many years.. But only recently had an opportunity to stay here, since most of other rooms said they we're already occupied! 😄
Rooms pretty decent, actually it's better than most places ~ but loved the ambience, in early mornings outside room on bridge ~ just a simple sitting on the tea table is worth the stay there

Just remember visiting velankanni is for religious purposes, staying here is a change of pace.. Worth the stay,
Just remember you don't get food here, maybe you'll get refreshments outside ~ just that!

The place is beautiful. The rooms are clean and very nice. We stayed in an AC deluxe room. The room was more than what we expected it to be. The view was amazing and on a hot day, it was so peaceful to sit on the porch and enjoy the sea breeze. We will definitely be visiting here when we come back the next time. They are making the place better than what it is now, so we are waiting to see what are the other things they are going to add and make this place better.

We had coffee and biscuits at the shop outside so didn't go inside.

The person manning the shop was very hospitable. The coffee was good as well as the biscuits fresh.

Prices were low as well.

very good maintenance of room and toilet and as well as the environment, very clean ...felt very peaceful environment ..food was very nice, service is very good, staff behavior is also is very humble and nice. good space of car parking...easy access to vellankanni church by car......there is a key board in the reception, hope it is for visitor use / time pass
a suggestion, if the owner provide the drums in the reception, where the interested tourist can play and enjoy for few minutes, it will be really attractive little more.
Requested to provide a swimming pool.
The owner is very simple and humble person.

Good place for a family trip. The rooms are very clean and neat, They offer breakfast free and the food quality is really amazing. It was like home made food. Price may be little high but its value for money. Very good planed layout and fish pond. In my point of view spending some money at other hotel. This is the right place for you. I would like inform you that, Water are is good water. No saltwater. If you book any rooms near by church they are using salt water. Customer service is also roally good.

We stopped here for lunch. We ordered non veg meals.. and the fish and dry fish curry they served was out of the world. For these two dishes would visit this place again. It has a resort too and the place is neatly maintained and its built over a small water body and it's right on the highway.

Nice ambience. Picturesque view from all windows. During nights, it's amazing to see the fishes playing beneath the bridges. Cozy beds. Extremely courteous staff. A nice sojourn.

Amazing architecture... Rooms are in between lake. Nice room ambience.. Feels like you are in Kerala. Affordable for a night stay. Has a children play area and a restaurant called Grandma hotel. Food cooked by an old lady.

Receptionist guy here is very helpful. Grateful to his service oriented mindset.

Helped us in late night request to use washroom for emergency, even though we haven't booked the room. Hats off to him!

Cozy and quiet place. No noise. It's a very comfortable and peaceful place to spend a weekend away from all work pressures.

Nice Resort. Enjoyed the stay. Luckily even the climate was good. Food in the restaurant was tasty but we have to wait for 20 minutes as they have limited suppliers.

Awsme place to chill out with family... I had really good time ther.... The restaurant food was yummy as expected...
