Very crowded in weekends. Always we can get fresh vegetables for whole sale and for domestic purchases.there were many shops around the market, we can't say about single shop. The place is managed well by the local bodies. Ppl around the villages came here to sell their harvested vegetables and visit here to get the seeds and fertilizer things.

Paravai market is the biggest asset of the village South poigai nallur as it runs on all days in a week. Some other Villages near to south poigai nallur also have markets but only one day in a week. In paravai market people can get fresh vegetables which are picked just one or two hour before. It starts to run from 3.30 am to 8 am and 2.30 pm to 6 pm.
