SRI GNANA VEDHA BEACH RESIDENCY

Very nice staff and excellent rooms. May not look very fancy on the outside but very spacious and clean rooms inside. The free breakfast was tasty. Food was a little pricey if ordering anyway other time.
It's very close to the churches so was convenient for staying with small children. Staff was very accommodating.

It was our first time there. It was a good and comfortable stay. The location is very close to the shrine. There is an easier access road before reaching the shrine. They will guide us if contacted on reaching velankanni town. The rooms were clean with clean linen and toiletries, Clean toilets. 24 hr hot water availability. I believe it's solar heater. So it might take longer to get hot water at night. Hot water comes well through the tap. But in shower the hot water is not that easy to get. The complimentary breakfast is healthy and tasty. They provide free hi speed wifi too. The tv was not working. As we were pretty tired after the long journey, we were in no mood to watch anything. So not much of an issue for short stays. The mass timings are pasted in the hotel for our reference. There are many curio shops around the hotel. Beach is just walkable distance as is the shrine. Mr. David & Mr.Sathyaseelan had done a great job in taking care of our needs. The kitchen closes by 10 pm. Rooms service is available. Another plus point is the parking area, which can easily hold 7 to 10 cars and has a security too.

Rooms were neat, spacious, super clean bathroom. Linen needs better cleaning though fresh.
Location is superb, as it’s near the beach and the Church. A 5 minute walk to both.
Food was good, and service was excellent.

One of the best hotel I've see so far especially with their services. Excellent work done by them. Restaurant is super clean and food served by them is tasty and reminded me of home food. Also it is affordable. The hotel is also super clean and their is a fresh fragrance we can smell everywhere.
Location- hotel is located near the beach and church .We have a access of terrace so we can enjoy the warmth of sea every afternoon and evening.
Staff members- they are very friendly, if you need any help, they will assist you with everything.

I will recommend everyone to visit this hotel with their loved ones.

It was a pleasant stay. We enjoyed a lot. Actually we celebrated my friend birthday there. They decorated room for celebration. The decoration was exceptional. Special thanks to Mr. Asai David who arranged all the facilities. And makes the day memorable in our life.

The location was perfect, the rooms were big and clean, the restrooms were clean, breakfast was ok. The service staff were very polite and provided great service. Sathiyaseelan On the front desk was prompt with the service and ensured we got the rooms in time.
David from the staff was just awesome, right from the day we did the booking to the day we checked out. He was always available and ready to help us. We recently got marrie, so David was kind enough to even get a cake for us.
Overall an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit velankanni.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed, what makes them best is the whole SGV team they have been very polite and friendly. It was my mom's birthday and they arranged cake for her and made her birthday so special. Thank you for your hospitality.

I visit Velankanni once in every 2 year. It is probably the third time I am staying at SRI GNANA VEDHA BEACH RESIDENCY. I always prefer this hotel because the rooms especially the restrooms are totaly hygienic. The view of the beach from the hotel is really cool.The behavior of the staff and management is really friendly. The staff services are available whenever we need. This hotel is located almost at the centre and is near to the Church. Their restaurant is also good. All the items provided are of good quality. I highly recommend this hotel to all people who are visiting Velankanni.

Wonderful experience and comfortable stay with my wife, BIL and MIL 88 years old. Excellent location, walk to church. Reception is extremely helpful & courteous. Rooms - neat & clean. House keeping prompt and helpful. Restaurant staffs are polite, serve with a smile, nice food, especially kaadai fry :)

Had a lovely stay at Gnana Vedha Residency. I always stay here on my trips to Velankanni. One of the cleanest hotels in the close vicinity of the church. The complimentary breakfast spread is a bonus as well. Rooms are clean; housekeeping is very good. Superb location. Will come again.

Excellent stay with good view, comfort and all facilities. The staff were helpful, rooms were very clean.
Restaurant provided good food and baby food whatever was needed.

This place is awesome when you travel especially with your family. Food quality and quantity is also very good. Service given is really good. One must always try to stay in this place highly recommended.

Good and peaceful stay , close to church vicinity .
Bathrooms should have hand wash and breakfast should have continental options too . The room should be provided with kettle , tea coffee options . On request the staff provided it . Rooms were clean and well maintained. Located near to the church. Although the hotel is near to the busy street, still it is quite and calm.
