Visited here while flower show happening. The place were crowded from morning. There are buses to every place but routes are kinda tricky. If you are non - tamil person make sure you ask atleast 2-3 persons for the bus you wanted.
All boards are in Tamil. If you ask one person they will point you to some bus with the place name on it. But probably that bus may go to another place, make sure you ask to that bus's conductor or driver. Only they knew the route.
After that its a very nice place, people are good, they will try to help. Station is clean and toilets are there nearby. Also have many buses to major towns.

Enjoy the beautiful valley view from their bonfire garden. The rooms are very neat, bathrooms clean. I would have loved their bathroom linen to be spotfree but at least they were clean. The breakfast buffet was ample. The bed was very comfortable. Staff decent & polite. Room service & house keeping tolerable. I stayed for only 1 night, so cannot say more.

They have bus facility to lot of cities, even bus from OOTY - CHENNAI.

More busses to coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur etc ..

If you come to this bus stand, never miss the tea shops located inside of the bus stand., You will get tastiest tea with hot snacks , Warm Tea on this chill town. Awesome taste & low cost.

Many autos are available near bus stand but all are heavy costlier, if you go near place keep walking and avoid traveling in auto or cab.

Extraordinary service by the Tamilnadu Government. Buses are available from 5AM to up to 11pm. Bus fair is very cheap for long distances too. I was shocked to see the bus tickets price. Maintenance of bus stand is also too good. There is no availability of plastic water bottles of Rs.20 and 10/-.

Very clean station. Easy to reach. In the centre of the city. You will need to book tickets for the toy train 2-4 weeks in advance. Easy to access internally.

The ooty bus stand is very popular , and it has bus service from all the cities , but the buses to masinagudi area is always rush and it will be available only at specific timings. And it also connects to Mysore and other places in Kerala. The buses were also available to cities like Coimbatore , Chennai , Erode , Mettupalayam , Salem , Gudalur etc... The Govt. Botanical Garden , Lake Boat Ride, Govt. Aquarium, Govt. Rose Garden, Govt. Flower Garden at Davisdale, Horse Race Coarse Ground, are very near to it. There are so many Hotels 🏨 near by with a pocket friendly prices. There's a cab facilities all the 24x7 hours. Everyone need to visit ooty to free up your mind and you will definitely enjoy over here.

Neatly maintained bus stand. It has a Clock room reservation offices for KSRTC, Tamil Nadu Road transport Corporation and SEEC. It has comfortable chairs to wait for the bus and also feeding room for mothers and a police outpost. There are provisions for drinking water and washrooms are available too.

Railway station is a 2 minute walk from the bus stand.

This is the main bus stand in ooty. A lot of busses are available to chennai,Coimbatore, Bangalore from here. One can get both govt as well as private buses from here. The bus stand is quiet small so a bit crowd can be seen here. Outside of the bus stand auto stand is there.
