Ranaghat Junction

One of the busiest stations in the sealdah ranaghat section. Its also a major junction station of this section. Bangaon line, gede line, shantipur and krishnanagar line divides from ranaghat jn. All express trains stops here. Escalators are available in this station. Total number of platforms are 6.

RPF, GRPF post, UTS, Computerized reservation Counter, JTBS available. Public toilets are not so clean. Ladies waiting room is attached to the platform number 1. There is enough water booth. Total 3 foot over bridge and one subway connecting all the platforms and east side of the station withbthe west side.

All platforms are very clean as well as other stations...there is a market beside the station..All over it has a many lines to go anywhere...By that way you can go to Bangaon.,Gede, Sealdah,... it's a local train stopage..but in some cases through trains depart from that station.

This junction station is quite big and a busy one. Different local trains from sealdah main line stops here. There is a separate Ranaghat local also which ends here. Transport is available always. The station is clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful. Different male and female toilet is available and both were very hygienic. Overall good place.
