Sardargarh Heritage Fort

Our stay at Sardargarh heritage fort was a memorable one. Food and ambience is excellent. Staff was very courteous and helpful.

Wonderful suite accommodation. Very comfortable rooms which are beautifully furnished.
The location is stunning. The service is impeccable. The food is delicious.

So an interesting find near Udaipur (80Kms) worth a visit for a weekend escape from the hustle bustle of the city life.

The hospitality and staff is really too good.

They helped us upgrade the plan to an all meal plan since we found ala carte to be costly affair as compared to the package offered.

Enjoyed a stay, property is under semi maintenance but once completed it will be an amazing place to be.

Probably the efforts of Thakur Sahab have added to the beautifully maintained property with amazing courtyards.

Excellent unexplored place for a luxurious stay. The location is superb and the personal touch in hospitality is beyond words. Gives you a feel of king / queen when you stay inside the fort walls and in same rooms where queens used to live before 250 to 300 years. Extremely peaceful place and gives a feel of living close to nature.

We had a one night booking at the hotel and as soon as we reached we began regretting that we weren't staying for a longer time. Retained by the original family, the property is not just stunning, it's filled with character and a personality of its own. The staff is warm and friendly - a special mention to both Ratan's, Dev, Lalit and Bhushan. I'm sure all the other staff is also great but we didn't get a chance to interact with them. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful, the ambience as well as the food. I'm already making plans to go back for a longer stay. Less than 2 hours from Udaipur, this place is a must must visit.

The place is literally a 17th century gorgeous fort. It is done in a very nice way that all your modern living needs are taken care of without disturbing the old feel that you would want from a heritage property.

The hosts are a beautiful couple who are also the owners of the fort. To know more about the glorious history of the place, you must catch hold of them. They will walk you around the fort while telling you the most amazing historical tales. The food is sourced from the local farmers in the village and is really fresh. Every bite tastes like magic.

Worth every minute spent planning to visit this place. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Totally recommended!

No words can best describe this marvelous hidden Gem. This historical place is a fine blend of the modern and the 17th century India. The owners have done their best to preserve the historical aspect and yet the rooms / facilities beat any modern luxury hotel. My favorite areas are the breakfast area facing the lake and the gorgeous swimming pool. The rooms are luxurious , the food is excellent and the staff is well trained. You are very well taken care of and pampered so much that you feel at home. The fort is currently being restored and I will love to come back sometime in the future. All the best to the owners. Anybody who wants to run away from the hustle-bustle of big cities, I suggest you spend at least 3 nights here. If I have to really find out a negative, I will say why this is not a wedding destination yet.

The place was nice and clean. Heritage fort more than 300 years old. Renovated but the authenticity is kept as it is. Well maintained place and we enjoyed our stay. Raj, Manish and the entire team is very hard working.

Some work still in progress, as soon as it's complited, it will be a wonderful place to enjoy royalty.

Words are too small to describe beauty of this place. Very isolated heritage property. Very beautifully restored this heritage place. Each room has essence of Royalneas. Staff is very polite and cooperative. Anyone can imagine their royal destination wedding here. Must must must visit this place once. Highly recommended.

It was a memorable stay at the Heritage Resort. You feel and treated Royal d movement you enter d fort. The staff was very nice and friendly. Food was awesome. Would highly recommend this fort for stay .

Absolutely Amazing!

What a wonderful place. The service and the staff were extremely attentive. I personally love this place because this place historic and beautiful.
I have a good experience of this place, the faculty of the heritage hotel is respect us and happily do there work. Sardargarh Heritage Hotel provide all essintial service.
Hotel faculty also conduct folk songs at night and all enjoy it.

This was a special and unique place to stay. the price tags says luxury, and it is not traditionally so, but we were truly spoilt. The rooms themselves were good, but the treat was the expansive and perfectly maintained grounds, with many different areas to enjoy some peace and quiet, or the expansive views over grain-fields and the nearby town. Staff were incredibly attentive and anticipated everything we could ask for. Food was excellent, and in our case was served on the rooftop to enjoy the stars. During the day we took some time to explore the mix of history and luxury, accompanied by the hotel beagles to give some company.

Wifi was included, food was priced relatively high as would be expected, but not unreasonably so. Extension work was underway when we were there in April, however this was managed very well and did not cause any inconvenience or disturbance.

The most majestic.. unbelievably beautiful property. Staying there was an experience of a lifetime.. outstanding service and superb rooms .. a lavish peaceful home stay with personalized attention and simple well-mannered and ever smiling staff . . A must visit if you want a quiet beautiful retreat.. rejuvenating and relaxing..

We stayed at this beautiful Heritage hotel with our young kids in December and it's been one of our memorable stays .It is a family run hotel with a very warm staff. The hotel is well polished and they have retained the old world beauty with no cosmetic changes so the experience is pure . The hospitality is outstanding , Sandeep Yadav , Pankaj Singh and Ratan Singh made sure we had everything we asked for . They gave us a tour of the fort and also arranged for a trip to a nearby sunset point . They made our kids , age 3 and 6 comfortable and always kept a watch out for them . All the food requests were always fulfilled with alot of care and love. A must visit hotel to get away from the mundane city routine and to slow down enjoy the eat fresh food, beautiful sunsets , sleep underneath the trees and listen to them rustling , breathe fresh air , be woken up by the chirping of parrots , chase the peacocks , play with their dogs and most of all experience living in a hertiage fort making you almost believe you are royalty. We highly recommend this hotel and hopefully we shall make a trip there again .

THE ROYAL HERITAGE PALACE
We would definitely be delighted to stay at Sardargarh heritage palace, a 300-year-old fortress. Till now we have visited so many palaces and forts but Sardargarh is one of the awesome 🌟, peaceful, royal and beautiful. Palace is full of positive vibes. Mr Raj took care of us from beginning to end regarding every aspect and he made our stay so much comfortable and royal. I m so much grateful to living king 👑 Mr Mahipalji, his prince and princess to take care of personally and make my stay unforgettable. The Fort tour was very well planned by Prince 🤴. Kings Mr Mahipalji is doing an excellent job of restoring the property to retain its history while providing luxury facilities. Food was excellent and freshly prepared and most importantly, it was served with tender love and care that was made delicious. Kids had a lovely time with Princess 👸 and her adorable pets 🐱. We are grateful to the Royal family, Raj, Harneek and the entire teams.

Very nice place. Calm and quiet. Beautiful resort and views Definitely one of the best heritage hotel I have visited till date . Rooms and service are very good and the route to this place from the udaipur airport is also in a very good condition and easy to navigate.(we were nicely instructed by the hotel staff about the route )

Today, i am here on Valentine's day and this place is out of the world, heaven on earth and i am so thrilled to be here. It is so beautiful, so peaceful, so tastefully built and maintained, it is a must visit place and the roads leading to this place are all good now. I am sure i would like to come here again and again and for more days.
