Adhishakthyathmaka Shri Annapurneshwari Devi Temple - (Horanadu)

Best place for Hindu god maa Laxmi. Very much powerful Devi. Must see the maha Alati and take the prasad which is very tasty and give you real satisfaction. Car parking is there. Any age person can go. Men has to remove their shirt before entering to temple.

This is a beautiful temple. It has lot of religious and holy faith. You have to offer rice there. There is lot of crowd and queue in the weekend and morning time. There is proper arrangements for washroom and toilets for pilgrims. They offer free breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is a must have. The way to reach the temple is very beautiful and scenic

Divine place... we reached at 1 pm in hot weather. Near entrance we washed our hand and legs before entering the temple, The water was so cold that it was really pleasant fee. We had darshan of Amma Annapoorneshwari... The Idol of Devi is so heartwarming, we just can't take our eyes off.. Then we had Mahaprasad. The food was very delicious. Anna, sambar, puliogare, sweet payasa,majjige... Hotte tampaytu..

Very thankful to the temple authorities for maintaining such a facility...

One more bad experience near temple, one shop near parking area, siddipoornamba variety centre, The snacks are of very low quality, the bad smell was coming, we bought it for small kids, which is very dangerous for their health. When we asked the shopkeeper to smell or taste the same, he denied. See how they know the reality and still selling such dangerous products to bhakts of Amma..

12Noon to 3.00 pm,

*Dress code: females should wear sarees or Punjabi dress with duppata .

Males should wear pants with T-shirts or shirts ,traditional wear puja dhoti or Dhoti with angavastram( Pattu towel) but after entering into temple males should not wear anything on upper body they should compulsory remove upper body clothes.

This temple built in 8th century , the goddess here is annapoorneshwari ( food ), this temple is at Horanadu and this place is situated on the banks of the Biafra river in Chikkamagaluru district,admist the forests and valleys of the western ghats.

The route to this temple was ghat road with lot of greenery and plenty of coffee and tea plantations.

We visited 7 temples in 2 days and this was the last place we planned to visit and it was worth.
We prayed standing in front of the idol for 5 minutes and no one to push us.
We visited at such a time that we saw the mahamangalarati as well.
The Anna prasada was also amazing 👏

My fav place.. one of the cleanest premises and tasty food. It is maintained well and have lots of guest house near by for stay. We reached on Friday evening and took 30-40mins for darshan 🤗

Beautiful temple at Horanadu. The road to the Temple is through a dense forest and winding roads. The temple is managed very well and one should not miss the Annadanam. Very well managed and hot food is being served to all the devotees. It's a must visit temple for all the devotees.
