This recipe is inspired by famous tea shop in Pune (Chai La Pune), Tandoori chai is unique variety of Indian tea. In this recipe tea is prepared in usual Indian way, after that a clay pot is heated(usually in Tandoor) and prepared tea is poured in the clay pot so that it absorbs flavours of the hot clay pot Muthirikothu is situated next to JLN stadium, and they also provide tasty sweets too. I was in search for tandoori Chai in kochi and happened to see a review in eat kochi eat about munthirikothu. They are a small fast food shop at Kaloor, near to JNL Stadium. One of the best attractions is that most of their dishes are home made or freshly made by themselves . There are a variety of snacks and mostly all are freshly made by the lady chefs. The place is very clean and the owners do mind to keep interacted pleasantly with customers. My family loves to visit here and have tandoori Chai and their signature cutlet. A very much recommended place for a cup of tea and some tasty nadan dishes. Do visit munthirikothu.
