I can eat here like four times a week, or even more. It's just that I'm hating the fact that most of the time the place was overcrowded. I cannot blame them, though... The food was dope ❤‍🔥

The restaurant is just right on the riverside. It gives you even a better feeling when you enjoy the food. The best part is that the food will be served quickly, so you don't have to wait or anything.

For seafood lovers, this is heaven. Prawns, different types of fish, mussels, crabs, etc.

I'm telling you—you come and tell me if I'm wrong.

Delicious food. All the sea food lovers should visit once for lunch here. Having lots of variety with low cost and tasty. Having tried all the sea food from here each time you will find the dishes served here are super tasty. Having the location near to the backwater you have the perfect spot for chill out.

Our host a dear friend of mine took us to this beautiful restaurant located in kochi... we were looking for keralian food exclusively fish dishes... nd belive me this was the best food we had ...had different varieties of fushes .. nd all of them excelled in taste... our stomach were full but our heart wanted more... would rate them more than 5 stars if possible...

If you like sea food / prawns / fresh water fish this is the place to be. The atmosphere is not extravagant. It's like a very basic hotel. Parking is bit of a mess, but can have 15 cars or so.

Near to the water so it's not that hot. Service is pretty good and quick. The variety of food available (mostly fish) is good. Food was really tasty too.

A good place to check out for the seafood lovers for sure.

A feast of sea food at an extremely reasonable price. If you're someone who loves hogging good food irrespective of the ambience, you won't be disappointed. The staff comprises mostly ladies and they're very hospitable.
Would just recommend them to try and keep the restroom a little more hygeinic.
The place is by the backwaters. Those who find it difficult to bear the Kerala heat, are likely to be disappointed due to the absence of an a/c dining room or other suitable amenities.

I dined at Periyar restaurant during the second week of June 2023. It was an absolute seafood feast at an incredibly affordable price. For those who prioritize delicious food over the ambiance, this place won't disappoint. The majority of the staff, who happen to be ladies, were extremely hospitable. Moreover, the restaurant offers simple parking space, which is a convenient feature. However, I would suggest that they pay more attention to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the restroom.

A busy (on weekends) restaurant on the riverside. Lots of seafood options. Food will be served very quickly. Lunch is limited to fish meals and sides.

Nice shop with a decent price list and taste. Every dish was tasty except fish fry. Not so bad but when compared to other dishes it can be even better. duck roast, prawns, squid everything was good. They have plenty of parking space too.
* The toilet was in pathetic condition.

Good food. Nice ambience. Good service from the part of staffs, most of the staff are women and they do it in the best way and well maintained atmosphere. River side restaurant and you can enjoy the beauty of the place and the best food for the lowest price in the city. I recommend this restaurant for you. Come and enjoy with your family or friends. Tried multiple fish dishes .local tasty food with nice location .Must Visit if you are in cochin

Good seafood available here. I always come here for the crab fry, and prawns fry. Good varieties of fish fry are also available here. Overlooking a water body...it is a river I guess but more like a lagoon. You can see some Chinese fishing nets here. Priced reasonably

We went very late by around 3.30 p.m still we got lunch, there were limited options for fish ( some of the common and popular items were not available) but the food we had was delicious and on top of that the service was awesome. This is one place that should be visited and the food and service is top notch. For lunch with 3-4 side dish for 3 people it cost around 800 because we ordered one karimeen pollichathu as well. So can easily say the price is also very reasonable.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere is great. Good service is provided by some of the staff, most of the staff are women, they provide service in the best way and the atmosphere is great. Riverside Restaurant where you can enjoy the beauty of the place and have the best food at the lowest prices in the city. I recommend this restaurant to you. Come and enjoy with your family or friends.

Very good restaurant. It’s a simple and basic setup. U can have food with having a lake view. I would say cheap and best restaurant . Lunch price is only 60 INR . U will get different verities of fish food which is really Superb in terms of taste. recommend to visit this place if u have any plan to visit Cochin .

If you are Interested in Sea food with a kayal view . So pls head to Periyar , get an affordable Sea food meals . Don't expect a great experience. Its just homemade dishes and that not too spicy 🌶 .

We had 5 meals + some specials We cost around ₹650/- only & You have a choice for selecting some big fried Fish's , For that price might varies from fish to fish .

Great place for seafood. I think I'd actually say the best pocket friendly in town. The food is really fresh, you got the amazing backwaters view. It's a real treat. You should go like 12-2 at noon to get all the dishes though, place is pretty much crowded always. But they got some great parking space too. Great for a mid-week/weekend seafood treat.

An excellent restaurant with good choices. Tasty food and courteous service. Rates are also reasonable. Within the limitations they could maintain the atmosphere to an extent. However location is excellent.
