Nice to take photos.. The cool weather and wind is awesome ☮😎a wonderful misty evening at the Thangal hills was a wonderful experience. The place was not very crowded and had a very serene feel. However it is unfortunate that people did litter and there were plastic bottles and bags lying in some place...that was very disappointing to note

Superb scenary....this place has some religious importance ..tangal para is almost 5km from vagamon town..once u get to the top of the peak u can enjoy a brilliant view of nature ..no admission fee.. parking space is available..best time of visit is either morning hours or evening..this place is very near to vagamon meadows..

Wonderful place

A Muslim pilgrim center in Vagamon, Thangalpara is the 'Dargah' or the final resting place of the Sufi saint Hasrat Sheikh Fariduddin Baba, who reached Kerala 800 years ago. The bottom of the rock has a masjid. One can visit the saint's tomb. Thangalpara is also an excellent trekking destination, and is approximately 400 foot high trekking. An average healthy person can easily trek up. The views from the top is worth the pain.

Entrance is free. The place opens up at 8.00 am for visitors.

A recommended place for those who go to Wagamon. Not too steep and not too easy. Not dangerous but accessible for almost everyone.
