Nice and lovely place, no entry fees. Sunday there will be a blood donation campaign organized. Museum could be improved a lot. If you go further 25km from there you can visit a bridge where Kaveri flows. Find it on map

One more must visit place in Mysore, it is just 8-10 kilometres away from the city. I personally feel it is one of the best memorials for such a huge icon of the Indian film industry. They have huge collections of his memories framed on the wall and it is such a treat to watch also they have kept his favourite sport car.
There is no entrance fee or parking fee it is free for public view and a humble request to people who visit this place, Please do not touch any of the frames or any other things just enjoy the superstar's life memories he is a Jem of our kannada film industry let us respect and cherish his memories.

It’s been 11 years, finally place is ready for public, was inaugurated this year by Karnataka Chief minister. The memorial hall showcases Dr Vishnuvardhan's film journey, his collections and memorable 600 photographs and the books used. The auditorium was closed which consist of a platform for theatre for cinema aspirants with all basic facilities.

The memorial is a tourist attraction and an academic centre for all those who are interested in art and cinema.

Dr. Vishnuvardhan Smaraka in Mysore is a memorial dedicated to the legendary Kannada film actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan (Sahasa Simha), who was a prominent figure in the Kannada film industry. The memorial aims to honor his contributions to the film world and his legacy in Karnataka.

Smaraka aslo have auditorium with the capacity of nearly 200 people's. Very good maintaince & well maintained.

Vishnu Vardan Smaraka is a wonderful place to visit with your family and friends and your children will enjoy the place.
You can see old photos of Vishnu Vardan sir. The pond in the centre and kadaga is the centre of attraction. The statue is amazing and we can feel Vishnu sir's charm. The place is well maintained and clean. I feel everyone should visit the place once.

Paid parking at 30 rs for cars. Went there and it’s a free entry very clean, all the photos and albums of Dr Vishnuvardhan are displayed there. All his movie songs are played in tv.

One of the best monumental of Kannada Actor & icon well organized maintained museum it's 15km. from city in Manandavadi road in Udbur village & must see picnic place !!

Dr. Vishnuvardhan, also known as Vishnu, was a famous Indian film actor who primarily worked in Kannada cinema. He appeared in over 200 films in a career spanning four decades. He was one of the most popular actors in South India and was known for his versatile acting skills. He was awarded several accolades for his contribution to Indian cinema, including the Padma Bhushan and Padma Sri. He passed away in 2009

My father is a huge Vishnu vardhan fan. As a kid I watched many of his movies in the theatre with family. This place made me nostalgic about my childhood. Some shots from the movie nagarahavu, my personal fav movie of Dr. Vishnuvardhan. You can spend half an hour here. It’s on the way from kabini to Mysore. You can surely squeeze it in your trip. No entrance fee.

After much struggling Dr Vishnu's Memorial is set up. It has been done very well. Lots of work is going on.

Very nice place to recall your memories of Saahasasimha Dr. Vishnuvardhan's movies. Collection of lots of special photos of Dada, his car, and paintings are worth seeing. There is lots of scope for new things to add. Definitely, this is a place to visit. 👌👍🙏
