Beautiful area. All staffs are very nice. Foods are also good and you can get several restaurant near the junction. There is a market in front of the station. If your train delays you can visit the town also.

Lumding is a junction railway station on the Guwahati-Lumding section. It is located in Hojai district in the Indian state of Assam. It serves Lumding and the surrounding areas.

Very beautiful and nice station. It is the busiest and important station of northeast Frontier railway. Lots of food stalls are available in the station. Most of trains stops in this station. Waiting hall is also available in the station. Station is also well maintained.

Very good junction. Lots of store there to serve food. There are also canteen of non veg & veg item separately. So many rest room are there for travelers. Very beautiful & clean station I have ever seen. Be distense from the froud. Extremely large station connect with Dibrugarh & Silchar line.
