I recently had the pleasure of visiting Al Aqsa Masjid and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The mosque is located in a serene and peaceful area, and the beautiful architecture of the building immediately caught my attention.

The facilities at the mosque are excellent, with ample space for prayer and a clean and well-maintained environment. The staff and volunteers were welcoming and friendly, and I felt a great sense of community spirit throughout my visit.

The Khutbah (Friday sermon) was delivered in a clear and engaging manner, with the imam providing insightful and thought-provoking reflections on the Islamic faith. The prayers were conducted with a sense of solemnity and devotion, and I found the entire experience to be deeply meaningful and spiritually uplifting.

Overall, I highly recommend Al Aqsa Masjid to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to pray and connect with the Muslim community. The mosque is a true gem in the local area and I look forward to returning soon

Mosque and Tomb in Seringapatam, Karnataka,
Seringapatam, a small town near Mysore, is an island fortress surrounded by the Kaveri River that was ruled by Haidar Ali from 1761 to 1782 and then by his son Tipu Sultan until his death in 1799. The mausoleum depicted on the right of this photograph contains the remains of the two rulers as well Haidar Ali's consort, Fakhr-un-Nissa Seydani Begum, Tipu Sultan's mother. Haidar Ali faced continued opposition from the British and numerous wars were fought for the control of southern India. In 1782 Haidar Ali died but the military campaign against the British was continued by his son. On 4 May 1799 the British stormed the Raja’s island fortress at Seringapatam and Tipu Sultan was killed. Around the main tomb are cloisters containing the remains of relatives and friends of the dynasty, as well as the mosque in this view.

Right next to the tomb of The great warrior of India Tipu sultan and his parents. This is one of the amazing place in the compound. Mosque is operational even today.

Not many examples of Tipu Sultan's keen interest in architecture remain, this is one such and that too in pristine condition.
