Gopalpur Palm Resort

I had stayed Swosti Palm Resort for 3 nights in my recent trip to Gopalpur. Here the rooms are bit old, however few new buildings accomodation is good. We were provided a room in new building and it was good. Room ambience can be improved. Bathroom was spacious and cleaned everyday.

We had opted complimentary breakfast and vatieties of breakfast items available everyday. Loved it ! We also had dinner and taste was good. My wife did not like Veg Tiranga though. I enjoyed Chicken biriyani and it was super tasty.

The best part I loved is the staff behaviour and they are very courteous. Always ready to help.

Though they do not have dedicated parking space, but they manage the vechicles pretty well and guide properly when any vechicle enters inside the premises. Parking is adjusted on the road, but spacious and not a big problem.

Proximity to sea beach walkable and around 400 meter. Light house is infront of the hotel.

Overall I loved the stay with my family here. Mostly will come back here if plan my trip anytime in future.

I was there for a family vacation & it is a perfect place to stay near Gopalpur Sea. The rooms & surroundings are well maintained. Food is also very nice with wide variety. The service is smooth. The only disadvantage is the area outside the boundaries of Hotel not well maintained & you will probably miss the direct view of sea.

Awesome, fantastic. Everything neat and clean, rooms are well decorated and service guys are always ready to help Break fast dishes are really delicious. Reception with welcome drinks is so cordial that you will enjoy pleasure while entering into the resort.

You just can’t go with ratings. Place is old yes BUT hospitality is top notch. Food GREAT Service GREAT !
We were moved when staff covered our bikes to avoid dust and bird poop. Who does that is a star hotel.
Just go ahead and try it out.

Hospitality good,good food quality security guard posted all the time,so no worry if you keep your car parked.

Rooms are good and clean. Staffs are very polite and available for help all the time. Very near to the beach. Good place to stay. Food is costly .The breakfast buffet is nice but you have to pay beforehand.

Stayed on the way from kolkata to Bangalore. Awesome service, nice room at affordable price at Gopalpur.

Breakfast is complementary and tastes very good. Other foods though I have tasted a little it was tasty also. The calm and serenity will give a refreshment to your mund

The property is well maintained. specially wanna to call out the staff behaviour,well mannered and helpful.
Stayed with my family for one day,which I felt it's worth at all aspects. Breakfast was complimentary and had a lot of options.The beach is walkable distance.one can enjoy the stay here.Highly recommend.

The rooms are evidently in the old architecture style but the hygiene was very very good (expected from a hotel with their reputation) The service was the best part, each and every staff member (receptionist, bellboy, waiter, room service, security) was very courteous and made sure we had the best experience. Even though they say it's close to beach, it's not if you plan on going in a 4 wheeler.

Nice Rooms!! Staff behaviour excellent.I had taken complementary Breakfast at Resort Restaurant which was awesome. Indian And English continental breakfast both available. Liked the Food very much. I must recommend this resort for stay if anyone been to Gopalpur.

Clean, hygienic and good food are highlights of this Resort. The staff are courteous and helpful. From Brahmapur railway station you can reach here via road transport in approx 20-25 minutes. Sea beach is a walk of 5 minutes. The approach road is a bit dark at night (the light tower was destroyed during last cyclone), otherwise ok. Comp breakfast was awesome and staff even catered to certain individual needs. Recommended.
The property itself is old though and is evident. Only complain was, they should check and change/repair their bathroom fittings regularly. We faced problem due to loose fittings. Unexpected at such a good resort. Overall we had a great stay. Great place for family and children to relax and enjoy.

Good location, excellent service and spacious rooms. Beach is nearby and people are cooperative.

Recently I visited this hotel with my family for 2 days visit.
Well it is the old property , still they maintained the property well.
Specially staff behavior so pleasant and wounderful that we feel great over entire stay.
Food service is excellent, we all 3 members are over satisfied although me and my wife is vegetarian...Still all good.

I recommend people to prefer this stay.

Very nice resort with warm hospitality, delicious cooked food and everyone in the restaurant is very well behaved.

The rooms were excellent. The restaurant offers a good variety of food, though the speed of the service in the restaurant could have been improved.

Overall a really good stay here and would look forward to staying here in future.

I travelled to Gopalpur for an official event.

While the some part of the contingent was staying in adjacent hotel Mayfair, I was put in Gopalpur palm resort.

On the first look, the hotel seemed like a 1980s kind of a hotel setup however, looks can be discounted with service.

The hotel has a great staff. Very cooperative and caring. The food was great, the service was excellent.

The hotel is very close to the beach and lighthouse. You can just walk to the beach. The beach is clean however very wavey.

Few areas of improvement... The ground between both Mayfair and this resort. It stinks at times.

My opinion for Gopalpur palm resort... Great for its hospitality and food.

Good to stay here. enjoy the beach nearby in evening. Breakfast is best. Lunch is average. Good hospitality. But avoid parking under trees. Thanks to their staff for cleaning up my car.

Great place to stay near to Gopalpur Beach . The Staff are very Hospitable, and the restaurant offers great food.
I truly recommend this place.

I went twice to the restaurant for lunch and Dinner. The food was delicious, service was prompt and the staff were very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend it for the food. Do try out the "Chana Pora" in the deserts, which is a local delicacy and really yummy.
