One of the well maintained and clean railway station. There is a coach position digital LCD board on every platform which mainly used for passengers.... it's very near to the tenkasi Sivan temple... easily accessible by walk you can reach it in 10mins..

Very clean.. highly maintained... Has a good look.. and very good atmosphere.... Also has a very good view of hills...... It is less crowded... So easy to get a seat for unreservation coach... It is the last junction in tamilnadu to Kerala border............

Nice tidy place serves as connecting point for trains to various Destinations but stoppage time of departure towards chennai is less than 2 mins and it much more difficult to many of old aged to get into train less than one minute...

Neat & Clean railway station located in the heart of TENKASI city..this is well connected by railway and roadway..TENKASI bus station & TENKASI GH is almost in walkable distance..parking is wheelchair accessible and entrance too is wheelchair friendly..platform ticket can be purchased from easy access kiosks without any hussle..recently they have cut down large trees inside the station platform to make way for new updates with electric train power lines,that was very painful to look at..portable drinking water facilities and toilet facilities are appreciable ..
