I recently had the pleasure of staying at Agyaat Vaas in Shimla, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This charming boutique hotel nestled in the serene hills of Shimla not only offered a breathtaking view but also provided impeccable service and comfort throughout my stay.

Excellent place for hang out with friends. Nice rooms and great hospitality.
Affordable prices. Most of all, it's drive in property.

It requires a little courage to reach here, especially if you are driving yourself, but once you reach here all troubles are forgotten. It's such a serene and beautiful place, nestled amongst the most beautiful oak forest with a majestic view of the greater Himalayas. Very peaceful. You can just sit here for days just reading a book and enjoying the surroundings. Needless to say that the rooms, the food, the service, the host, all are great too!! Must visit place for nature lovers. The sunrise trek is not to be missed as it offers on of the best all round 270 degree view of the Himalayan peaks.

A real meaning of agyaatvas lies in this property. A high altitude living place in Shimla district. Stay connected with your family and friends with nearly zero WiFi network. Treakers paradise

We stated for 3 nights at Agyatvas and i can only say that we are going to go back soon .
We travelled with our 5 years old daughter.
The drive from narkanda to hatu has an elevation but the road is very well made . However it is only the last stretch which is bumpy .Also one can park one s car down and go up to the place in a taxi .
The hosts and the owner of the place are really warm and so is the staff.
They have small trail and treks and other adventure activities.

Appropriate place for peaceful stay. Ambience is exceptionally good for meditation.

Had a very nice stay there. Though the 6 kms drive before the resort is adventurous one. Staff was good, nice food and ambience. Also done some sporting activities there. Overall very nice.

Being in same business, I can see how many efforts have been put to create the concept of Agyaat vaas after Mahabharat. I recently visited the place with my family & regular guests, all were thrilled. I will keep coming & recommending to people.

One of the best locations to enjoy in lap of nature. Freshness everywhere and such courteous staff, even with limited options, they always try to make you comfortable. It is a must visit place for people seeking raw nature experience.

I had an amazing stay here with my family. The staff service was excellent. Delicious food The morning hike to karena peak, was one of the best sunrise we have had ever witnessed. Night was filled with start sky and bonefire. Would definitely visit this place again. The property is pet friendly which is an add on point for animal lover like me

Agyaat Vaas is the resort for the people who are really looking for Agyaatvaas, looking for serenity. From the resort Mid Himalayan ranges are visible in a wide angle. From resort if you walk for 600 -800 meters you can have 180deg wide angle mid Himalayan ranges, beyond Kinnaur and Kulu valley. There ancient pine trees are naturally ornamented with moss, fern and unnamed small flowers. We can reach the resort through forest department made narrow and stone made road which looks natural. But we reached there by innova up to resort parking.
Considering the facilities it's a 3star resort if compared with a city resort. But if you consider the location where the resort is made, the solo end of a mountain near Hatu peak, 7/8km away from the Narkand market, and within that radius no locality is there it's a 7star resort. The interior of the rooms are outstanding with all facilities starting from electric kettle to bathroom disposable kits, in room fire place, wide glass windows, even shoe polish kits. Television is not there for satellite signal problem, which I felt a boon. Because the serenity and natural silence of the location would have been spoilt, if Televisions were provided in 21 rooms of the resort.
Staff behaviour is too friendly and helping.

In conclusion I can say this resort can be given a crown of best resort in this area.

Rarely in my travel itenary, there had been a place where I visited twice and this one being the first! The resort lies in absolute heaven Amidst tall pine tress, beautifully nestled on the top of slanting Peak.. Away from civilization and mankind, if one wants to connect with Nature, this is it!

The only downpart is, the road to resort is challenging or even daunting. Else, spacious rooms, delicious food, and ever sweet polite staff who cooked us food on jor bagh as a picnic spot!

Must visit, if you can.

In a single word magnificent. An awesome stay in the middle of pure nature. It's actually outskirts of the city and in the middle of a green forest. And the road, just pure adventure. Road is really really narrow and super curvy. Ultimate experience. be prepared for that.
Now when it comes to hotel, it's just unbelievably beautiful and peaceful. Rooms are really specious and well decorated with all modern day infrastructure available in it. Food was really good. Each room was different. It was really a nice and memorable stay here in the middle of the jungle.

Hidden treasure in the forest

Agyaat Vyaas is truly a treasure . It is challenging to reach ( the resort will be quick to offer a pickup from Narkanda if you're unsure) but totally worth it. Hustled deep inside the woods, this place offers clean and spacious cottages with hot water , comfortable beds and necessary amenities. The rooms are really HUGE!!
Every evening the staff lights up bonfires outside the cabins. This is truly a place to relax, rejuvenate and bond with friends and family. Great food, great vibes and breathtaking views. A Big thank you to Mr.Chauhanfor making our stay memorable! We will be back!!

It was a great experience very relaxing place great place to spend a time with your families and friends. Settled between the forests close to nature. Awesome place, top quality rooms and service friendly staff. Many activities to do both day and night like tracking in day time and camp fire at night. Overall a great package. Enjoyed my time there.

Resort is quite expensive as it's luxury. But I will give them 5* as they gave me medicine also tea was for 50 INR but not much good... So I can imagine the food quality... Yes they do have huts n saperate rooms I trek for 5 kms to reach there no signal comes in case of emergency no phone network will wrk.. less people all jungle.. n core jungle... But try online u will get cheaper deals..

Agyaat Vaas is the best option if you really want to feel the mountain weather, rooms are exactly what they show in the pictures, well clean and 5 Star room, staff nice and experienced and they take full care of you, food quality superb. Thanks

Peaceful, calm and serine surrounded by tall pine trees far way from locality. Visit the sunrise point at a small hike of 1 km through the jungle. Hatu peak is just 1.2 km hiking distance through paved roads; visit there at sunset. Cozy cottages, courteous staff, facilities (including the fire place inside rooms), food (bit costly) are excellent. If u r a new driver in the mountain last 5 km will be a tough task due to narrow roads and specially last 500 meters due to non paved road!
