In the Pines Café & Homestay

I stopped at this cafe on my way back from Shimla and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I can honestly say that this is one of the best cafes I've visited in Himachal Pradesh. The name of the cafe is "In the Pines Cafe" and it is exactly that - a cafe. No frills, no gimmicks, just good food and coffee. I really loved the place.
I would definitely recommend this Cafe to anyone looking for a good place to eat and relax. It's a no-frills cafe with no nonsense, but it's definitely a place you'll want to come back to.

The cafe I visited was a pleasant surprise. The decor was tasteful and the atmosphere was comfortable. The service was prompt and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I highly recommend trying the specialty coffee drinks. Overall, I strongly suggest visiting this cafe for a satisfying dining experience.

It's an amazing cafe on the way to Narkanda just a few km behind. The food is delicious with great ambience and amazing music. The host is very helpful and they have a small homestay as well in case someone is looking for a stay.
The only thing I didn't like is they charged an extra 20/- for a simple takeaway of our fries which could have been avoided. Also the view from the window seat is perfect to sit back, relax, enjoy the music with tea.

It is the one of the best and amazing cafe which we found in mountains at Narkanda during our trip. They serve amazing indian food and fast food. Awesome tea of this place and the way they serve with smile is amazing. So cute and simple ambiance with great view. Even you can play some games here like ludo, uno or table football and many more. I will recommend this place 10/10. I really loved it.

A cosy café and home stay in the backdrop of beautiful mountains. It was the perfect setting for our work from home week. The food is homely, prices affordable and the hosts are completely accommodating. In addition to the normal menu, trying himachali dishes like siddu is a must. The café upstairs offers a comfortable and music filled atmosphere.

cute cafe. Clean and full of warmth. The host is kind and helpful. We weren't staying with them and yet he helped us plan our trip up ahead towards narkanda etc. The music was nice and the vibe was very positive.
The food at the cafe, though vegetarian, was great. Both husband and son flipped on the banana pancakes.
The little bookshelf at the entrance had a variety of books..a kind of place where you would love to relax with a book, a cup of tea or coffee alone or with someone probably playing the guitar or a group playing board games etc.

This place is strategically built and just hits you right with that mountain vibe. Furniture and other amenities are put very thoughtfully. Wooden stuff/ Tibetan flags/ cute miniatures etc. Food is also top notch. Perfect.

Very Tasty Food. Worth the money. Pocket friendly. Red sauce pasta and Oreo shake are a must try. Great Ambience. Amazing Mountain view. The host is very humble and polite.

One of the best places to satisfy your taste buds....it was my daughter's birthday and we had a great time... beautiful ambience quick service, great staff...all the dishes we ordered were delicious....we tried momos,burger,pizza,fried rice, mushroom chilly,white sauce pasta... everything was upto the mark...full marks to the chef... Highly recommend,

Clean place with a very warm ambience and cozy interiors. Host was very welcoming and the songs played were pretty cool. Must visit place for a brief stopover if you are around. Food was also good. I tried thupka and loved it.

The food was amazingly good and I must mention the music choice of host. You can’t expect pink floyd running in a cafe’s playlist generally so we all were in love with this place . The host is also so calm and welcoming. Must visit place if you are around this area.

We had quick hault at this cafe ,interiors of the cafe were quite catchy ,and sitting arrangement was comfortably and cozy . We also met the cafe owner and we found him very warm heated and welcoming.

A must visit cafe for food and the view. The portion size is also enough as per the price. Great taste and warm hospitality

We had been driving since early and wriggling through hustle bustle of an unending streak of shanty hamlets along the highway, we finally entered much more tranquail settings and just as we yearned for a break, bang on the highway, stood this cafe , freewheeling, standalone, adorned with guitars, bespoke crafted settings with an endearing posse of books, many of them my one time favorites.
WOW , all I could say " it require taste and a class " and needless to add , a mild mannered rather demur and overtly courteous youngster running the cafe had done it all himself from designing the interiors, the furnishings, the furniture , the menu, the settings etc..
I will cut it short , the view of the rolling valley and features sheathed in pine was breathtaking and to add to it the menu seemed sumptuous, affordably priced. Although we could not try all but a bare minimal set soar our expectations but more than that our mind had relaxed and a long drive ahead looked much more comforting , thanks to this well sited cafe.
Definitely worth many a revisits.

this restaurant is one the way to narkanda. I visited alone and had egg roll and ginger lemon honey tea. Much good in taste and hygiene. I like the vibe music and taste
