Great Experience with Air India. Great services and support provided by Air Alliance. Airport is very clean yet no food facility is available yet. Only drinking water filters are available. Neat washrooms. Make sure one carries Vaccination/Universal pass document along with them followed by Aadhar Card. If you unable to do a Web check in kindly go the counter. Make sure for security check in kindly remove metallic items from ur bags.

Airport is quite good and silent. There are few transport services. But will recommend bringing or booking a car in advance. Only one plane is currently operating hence no crowd or chaos.
Overall airport is clean and tidy. Food service is less. But they are opening soon

Welcome to my hometown. Yes there is no beautiful place like Malvan in Konkan. Be aware of the route. Also some days there is a local market operational on way to the Airport thus keep a watch so you are not delayed for your flight.

Small but still neat and clean airport , polite and cooperative staff with state of the art basic amenities, toilets are clean ,good AC even two wheeler and Three wheeler rickshaws are also allowed for pick up and drop so really economically viable.Tickets are just in 1000 rs more or less range with dynamic pricing of Indian railways so if you want to visit Malavan, Tarkarli and beaches in Sindhudurg blindly go for this saves lot of time and gives u more time with nature.

Huge airport getting constructed in Malvan heart of sindhadurga area.... Specious and big track... The major issue I found is to reach this place from Malvan or other areas... The roads are narrow n bad... They need to construct proper road transportation to reach this airport or else it's no use of it.

Sindhudurg Airport, also known as Chipi Airport, is an airport at Chipi-Parule, Taluka- Vengurla in Sindhudurg district, in the State of Maharashtra, India. It is located 27 kilometres from the Mumbai - Goa highway, 12 kilometres from Malvan close to the sea shore. Construction was completed by the second half of 2018 and a familiarisation flight (Test Flight) from Mumbai Airport landed on 12 September 2018 on occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The airport was formally inaugurated on 5 March 2019. Alliance Air, a former Air India subsidiary, is the only airline operating flights from Mumbai. Commercial flights have started at the airport from 9 October 2021.IRB Infrastructure won the bid to develop the airport in 2009 for a concession period of 95 years. The project received environmental clearance in March 2012. Work on the airport was completed in the second half of 2018. Work on the airport was expected to be completed by August 2014, but had been delayed because of issues in acquiring private land, among others.After overcoming a series of delays, the airport was finally ready and launched operations from 9 October 2021.Alliance Air started its operations with flights from Mumbai on 9 October 2021. Other airlines have also started planning seasonal flights to the airport from Delhi, Pune, Nagpur, Hyderabad.The airport was built by IRB Sindhudurg Airport Pvt. Ltd. on a build–operate–transfer (BOT) basis for the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). The airport was initially planned with a 3170 metre long runway at a cost of Rs. 175 crores. It is spread over 275 hectares and the 2500 metre runway can accommodate aircraft like the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737. The airport terminal building can handle 200 departing and 200 arriving passengers during peak hours. Sindhudurg Airport will shortly have foreign tourists as well and will have the following flight services.

Small airport but having all the basic facilities covered. It was a nice experience to travel with Alliance Air.

Costly pick ups and drops

A clean, serene, scenic airport with abundant natural beauty, efficiency, very little crowding. Everyone is very sweet and efficient. Not many convenience stores on site. Neither many flight options. But it has the potential to replace Dabolim airport for many cases. Love it.

Malwan Sindhudurg Chipi Airport was the most awaited one 😀 Grabbed the chance to air travel on this route the very next day it was inaugurated…
Experience was awesome!! Airport facility is well built and all the ground staff was very friendly. Nice experience travelling with Alliance Air.

The most memorable part of this air route is the beautiful scenery & coastal Ariel View that you experience while Landing 🤩
