A tiny little walk upto this place but definitely worth it. Really beautiful, clean, well maintained. You can opt for a guide here, not really necessary esp if you catch the light & sound show.

Like the Baz Bahadur Palace the Roopmati Pavilion also predates Baz Bahadur. Going by its strategic location on a hill top at the very southern end of the plateau, it is quiet likely it servea as a military outpost keeping an eye on invading armies. It was later converted into a pleasure house by Baz Bahadur for his favourite lover Roopmati, who is to graze at the Narmada from the pavilion. The pavilion consists of two structure built at different level. The base of the upper structure coincides with the top of the lower structure and thus providing a double storied appearance. The overall structure is
U - shaped with a with a neatly maintained garden in the middle. The Roppmati's Pavilion contains massive arched passages complete with water channels to keep the palace cool from the scorching heat of Mandu. The terrace provides great views of the Nimar plains stretching all the way to the Narmada River. Like the Baz Bahadur's Palace the terrace contains two domed pavilions. It was probably from here Roopmati watched the Narmada flow and refused to eat, when the river was not visible.

This is a good place to visit in the rainy season and winter season, you will get the proper view from the top of the Mahal. The place is very clean, can't be hygienic. But if you are going to Mandu, visit once.

The Pavilion is part of Mandu Fort Complex. It has beautiful location from where panaromic view are stunning especially in and after monsoon.
Lush green hills and valley provide excellent views.
It is located on hilltop and has beautiful well styled building. The building has both Hindu and Islamic architectural elements.
Made for Queen Roopmati, it also served as watch tower.
She visited the place almost daily riding her horse. She could view the palace of Baz Bahadur and Narmada river from here.
Very popular spot for tourists.

Visited this wonderful place in January. Beautiful example of rain water harvesting. The rock structure has a 3 floors bottom one was used as horse stable. Above that was room used for soldiers to stay. Top was used as watch tower.
Building is having slope structure so as to store a water at one place. The water circulation system in the whole pavillion shows the architectural knowledge of peoples at that time.

This place is awesome ❤, if you are fan of " taji taji hawa" you should visit it . This pavallian is built for Rani roopmati so that she can see and mismerise the beuty of holy narmda river which is 15 Km away (approx ) from here , but the pavallian is built at very high altitude so that Rani can easily see narmda maaiya , also there is a garden 🏡 to spent time in for rani , and one more historical thing here is "juhari khana" when Raja Baaj bahadur is dead in the war of sarangpur all the ladies including rani roopmati of the state has committed suicide by burning their ownself alive in this juharikhana. But it is built very unique and if you visit in morning 🌻 , you will find lots of flowers and 🐦 birds whispering , ☮ peace 🕊

This is one of the main tourist attractions in the entire Mandu group os monuments. It is believed to be made by the the most famous king of malwa Baz Bahadur for his lover Rani Roopmati. Located on the top of a small hill, you'll have to walk a bit to reach at the top and the view from the top is mesmerizing. The monument is very beautiful and very well maintained. A must visit place in mandu.

Visited this gorgeous place in the month of September. It is a bit of 300 metres climb diagonally from the vehicle parking place. Absolutely gorgeous views all around the site and a must visit site for those visting Mandu.

However, on a side note, there are no suitable sanitation facilities in the shop/stall/restaurant area immediately around the site so visitor should mind that.

I read about this place in the book "Mandur Roopmati" by Buddhadeb Guha and hence I had to see this. It is a nice little palace on a hill top. You have to hike a little up from the front gate. But be sure to buy tickets from below which is far down from the palace. You can see a pretty view of the valley from here.
