Cafe Catamaran

The cafe is on the beach literally and has a great sea view. Can’t stress enough how amazing food the food was! Chicken pizza is one the best I have had in my life! The service is great and they serve halal food.

The cafe Catamaran.If we say cool to say nothing, we can say that cool is a hidden place that no one who comes to Alappuzha will miss. A place where we can eat food after seeing the beauty of the beach and watching the waves and seeing the sunset view. The interior of this place is foreign touch and they are the main thing that can be seen here. We can spend more time here. I came in the evening and it was very quiet. Speaking of food, the menu included an English breakfast. The food was awesome and the price is normal rate for everyone. Service is good . After eating food, walking along the beach felt a different vibe.my friends very happy and enjoyed this place.thank u catamaran

Cudnt ask for more when it comes to the ambience. Loved the fresh air beach side seating the most. The service was commendable with a pleasing hospitality.
And the live music adds on to the already beautiful serene atmosphere. It's like a cherry on top.

Would definitely recommend this place. The only suggestion, they can improve on the juice and shakes. Mint lime ordered was not so good. Loved the noodles and sandwich, especially the fries.

This is a great coffee with delicious food options. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The place is gorgeous at day and night and would be a great place to be for everyone. Wonderful view of the beach and peaceful atmosphere.

The vibrating atmosphere creates a lively atmosphere, perfect for an evening. The menu features a range of tasty dishes, complete with an impressive selection of drinks. I must say that the ambience provided by the cafe is topnotch. Food is good. For somebody who is looking forward to have a coffee time with a great view of the sea shore, this is a must go place. I would suggest the cafe to add more variety cuisines to their menu. Overall a good and memorable experience.

Best restaurant/chill out terrace in Allepey beach. The place is very smart decorated and the staff were friendly and professional. What I loved most was the chill atmosphere (whith the right volume and type of music), to enjoy a good meal looking at the sea. I saw dolphins almost every morning.
Super recommend and I would go again in a heartbeat.

Amazing location for this cafe. It is located right on the beach. It starts to get crowded towards the evenings. It is the only place that we could find that was open a little late and walking distance from the hostels and homestays near the beach.
Food is decent but the milkshakes are good.
Definitely recommend this place just for the view from the first floor seating. The seats are cushioned mats on the floors. It's a fun place to hangout a catch an amazing sunset.

We just had milkshakes here and they were delicious. Additionally, the beachside ambiance and service were outstanding.

Nice location with good atmosphere. All staff also good and well behaved. Price of food little high as per my opinion. Taste and variety of food was average. Good view of sea. Evening time atmosphere also good. Many people spend more than an hour with a glass of drink or with a cup of tea.

The ambience, interiors, food and the views of the beach... Everything is awesome.

Kept clean at all times.
Staff is very helpful, supportive, friendly and cooperative.

Excellent cafe with a stunning view of the beach. We have been there for 2 sunset evenings and we relished both the time. Options for food and drinks are real good. The seating, music and the ambience makes us relax and settle well with the vibes. French fries, veg fajita pasta, veg sandwiches are our favourites. The Apt place for a hangout with a view! Go there by evening, have a splash in the beach, head to the cafe to relax and enjoy the food and vibes!

Travelling to Allepey n looking for a place which is near to beach n has awsome evening vibes, then this cafe is the perfect location. I was here for my dinner n had an amazing experience with my friend. The staff is super nice and helpful with all the details of the items. They really interact well with all their customers. I had 4-5 items which were great in taste and the food was amazing. I had all these items.

Red smoothie

Overall a must visit cafe if you plan to visit allepey beach. Coming back sooon. Cheers

We had Grilled fish, seafood special pizza and Chicken pasta. Everything was so yummy. Grilled fish was pricey for the quantity. But other than that everything seems to be outstanding. We also had tea, watermelon and orange juice.
Overall a nice experience.

One of the best places I have been to while i was traveling to kerela Alleppey. I stayed at zostel and it was literally a few steps away from there. The staff is so kind and helpful, they always bring a smile to my face whenever we went to the restaurant. It was literally our spot for the time i was here. It is a sea facing restaurant and you'll have an amazing time here. The food is good and the vibe is good the staff is good, and the music, literally everything is just pure delight.
I definitely recommend this place.

Its one of the best locations ! It was easy to reach and they have variety of food, you can find both traditional Indian food 🥘 also 🐠 many seafood meals. The food was so Good I tried the garlic butter lemon 🍋 fish! One of the best. Staff are so kind and friendly they have always been helping and happy to meet new people.

Allepey beach is unlike the usually crowded beaches of Goa and Mumbai so one doesn’t get many options to choose from when it comes to having a meal but Cafe Catamaran serves to be a pretty good one amongst the few that are available out there. We reached around 11:30 in the morning when the restaurant was just getting prepped to open. Considering that we were the first visitors of the day, I did not feel that there was any lag in the service or the options to choose from. They were pretty honest upfront and told that the pizza would be available post 4PM and everything else on the menu was available. The view of the sea with the beach is unbeatable and they had plenty of seating options, from regular tables to comfy low floor seating to match your vibe. The music also helped enhancing the overall feel of the place.

We ordered a veg pizza, club sandwich, pan cakes with choco nutella, veg pasta and some juices. Everything was fresh (obviously) and made to perfection.

Parking was not a problem. There are some narrow lanes approaching the restaurant though but that’s there with every shack on the beach.

Came in for a refreshing Lemon Nana and a toasted cheese sandwich. Everything was great also the staff are charming, the seats comfy and the view outstanding.
