Approximately ten meters to the east of the tomb of Salim Chishti is the larger tomb of Islam Khan I. The tomb, while larger than that of Salim Chishti, is less dominating due to its red sandstone cladding, which blends with the rest of the complex. Islam Khan I (Shaikh Alauddin Chisti, 1570-1613) was grandson of Shaikh Salim Chishti, and became a general in the Mughal army in the reign of Jahangir. The tomb is topped by a dome and thirty-six small domed chattris, and contains a number of graves, some un-named, all male descendants of Shaikh Salim Chisti. The tombs of the women of the Sheikh’s family are found behind the mosque.

Great...
This is the tomb of the general of the Mughal army Islam Khan I. Also the grandson of the Sufi Saint Salim Chisti, his body was laid to rest inside the Jama Masjid courtyard by Emperor Jahangir in the year 1613 AD. The Tomb of Islam Khan is originally served as the Jamaat Khana or common religious house for the most distinguished disciples of Sheikh Salim. This courtyard houses 24 graves of the Sheikh's followers.

This palace was the capital of SIKARWAR ROYAL FAIMLY who rule this area untill the defeat in 1527 khanwa war. this is the place where AKBAR kept many hindu royal girls for NIYOG (TO RAPE WITH OTHER PERSON FOR PREGNANCY) WITH THE YOUNG DISCIPLES OF SHEIKH SALIM CHISHTI IN THE NAME OF HOLY BIND OF MARRIAGE. When the bitter truth of SALIM'S (JAHANGIR'S) birth COME OUT FROM THE WALLS OF FATEHPUR SIKRI FORT AKBAR ORDERED HIS ARMY MEN TO SLAIN ALL PERSONS WITH LADIES AND CHILDERNS IN NIGHT AND THE GRAVES OF THEM WERE BUILT IN THE FORT CAMPUS. AFTER THIS MASSACRE THE FORT IS EMPTY EVEN TILL TODAY.

He was a Mughal general and the Subahdar of Bengal. He transferred the capital of Bengal from Rajmahal to Dhaka and renamed it Jahangirnagar. He was awarded the titular name of Islam Khan by Mughal emperor Jahangir.

Another wonderful Mughal architecture.

The tomb of Islam khan is situated near the tomb of salim chisti inside same courtyard but less fancy and less decorated made up of red stones. Islam khan was a military commander of mughal army. He must have an important place for king that's why his tomb in this place.
