Nestled along the serene banks of River Cauvery lies the enchanting Shri Nimishamba Temple, where every moment is infused with divine grace. As its name suggests, the temple embodies the essence of swiftness in fulfilling prayers, with devotees experiencing the miraculous granting of wishes within minutes.

Goddess Nimishambha, a divine incarnation of Goddess Parvathi, radiates her benevolent presence throughout the temple premises, fostering a profound sense of peace and tranquility. The immaculate surroundings and minimal crowd further enhance the spiritual ambiance, allowing visitors to immerse themselves fully in prayer and contemplation.

The convenience of purchasing pooja items nearby and the opportunity to cleanse one's soul in the holy waters of River Cauvery add to the temple's allure. Despite its proximity to Mysore, ample parking ensures a hassle-free visit, while the fresh vegetables available around the temple add a delightful touch to the experience.

Shri Nimishamba Temple truly stands as a beacon of divinity, beckoning seekers of solace and fulfillment from near and far. Whether seeking blessings or simply seeking solace, a pilgrimage to this sacred abode is an experience not to be missed

I always get a good vibe whenever I visit to this temple. Amma or Maa Nimishambha is the main deity in this temple. Also you can take bath in the river stream the Cauvery amma. There are many shops for getting Pooja items and also they sell fresh vegetables and fruits 🍇 at a reasonable price don’t miss to savour them. You have ample parking 🅿 space available just opposite to the temple.

We visited sri ranganath swamy temple in srirangapatana, being most visited site enabled to visit of which we were blessed with nimishamba goddess.

Sri NimishambhaTemple probably was built during the 1610-38AD during the reign of MummadiKrishnarajaWodiyar. It’s believed that Nimishambha will clear all problems and issues of devotees within minutes. That’s the reason it is called Nimishambha, because ‘Nimisha’ means minute.

A temple of great historic and archaeological significance. Please do read about it before visiting.

There are souvenir shops and a relatively clean pay-and-use toilet on the approach road about 50 meters outside the temple main entry.

A literal translation of the name is that all your legitimate wishes are granted within minutes by the goddess provided you have faith and pray to God in true spirit. And this is 100% true

Beautiful and clean temple. Due to less crowd, got an opportunity to stand at the nearest point with family. As it is next to a river which had water, you can have a dip to beat the scorching heat. Evenings are good time to visit due to the stalls next to the river.

I loved the atmosphere and less crowd. On the bank of river Kaveri. My kids spent almost 1 hour playing in the water.

The only point I want to share is outside of this beautiful holy place, You will find a lot of stalls, but not all of them are hygienic.

Hope you don't get food poisoning :)
