Beautiful place to spend your weekend away from city life. You can take train or bus to avoid driving 3 hours from Bangalore.

Visit the river and take a fine bath spend much time possible then visit goshala. You can also note money to feel the cows.

It used to be a very peaceful , clean and serene place a few yeaes ago , but now it sees a lot of tourist inflow and consequently, a lot of garbage stewn around . Still , it has its charm . The water is always sparkling and gurgling and a coracle ride can be hired to get to the middle of the stream for a more enjoyable experience. A go-shala is now being run close to the ghatta . An old temple of Kashi Vishweshwara stands on the banks. And a few other sculptures are stored in an alcove above the steps.

Very beautiful place where more than 1000 of kannada movies has been shot here. Basically this place is visited by people to do shraddha Pooja, homa Pooja etc. but still one of best tourist spot in outskirt of mysore

Very less ppl knw this place beautifully maintained u can also play in water when the water level is less when I visited water level was more they had left water from dam usually water level will be less temple closing time is 4pm do visit with family ❤ this comes at Bank of cavery river do not trash the place keep it as it is if u find any trash plz do collect it there r dustbins outside dump it there u can also find shops outside for snaks or juice and also there are many cows cow schools u can also visit there

A holy place to perform the pithru karyas. But water flow was very less. But it was safe to enter into river

Very good flow of water,but people throw their used cloths,which is very bad ,as per Shastri they should not do that but they keep throwing their cloths.

The holy dip at this place on an eclipse is considered auspicious..so made it wholesome...suggesting&reassuring to go there for more celestial events

Had holy bath in cauvery river yearly 3 to 4 times need to take holy dip, water is very clean

People visit here to perform rituals for the elders. We had a good experience visiting here and performing the rituals. Cleanliness can be improved.
