Camping in Bir Billing

I stayed at Namlang Village. The location was beautiful. Stay was comfortable. I don't watch TV so that was also great for me as TV was not there. All u can do is to cherish nature while being in nature.
And the Paragliding... One word.. breath-taking... Must have experience... Cost is 1800 to 2500 per person. I have a good bargaining skill so I got it in 1800.. a fly of 15 mins... Full Paisa wasool...✌

Bir Billing Awesome Place for adventure lovers. Group Camping and paragliding is the main attraction of this place. Booking office is in Bir near bus stand. They will take you to the point of paragliding and camping. Paragliding point is approx 18 km from the bir.. that place is billing..top of the hill.. world's second highest paragliding point. Price per person is Rs.3000/= which include ride, and hand camera. 12 year above age people are eligible for paragliding. At the time of landing some camera man clicks your pics and ask you 200 Rs if you need those pics. Many Food option is available near the point.👍😊

It's simple awesome it was my first experience & really it was amazing. I got very beautiful view in between 10-20 minutes. I will share my experience here, before starting your ride you will get bit panic but don't worry once you started it you will feel so exciting & rejuvenated. Had spent new years eve here with friends the place is a pure bliss. So peaceful mountains and clear sky. Most importantly the Paragliding and the thrill to do it from world 2nd highest place. One should go and do that, it should be in you bucket list.

It is the World's famous Paragliding spot and it recently hosted Paragliding world cup. The place is Known for its scenic beauty and pleasing weather whole year.

• If you want to have a ride you can do it with a sum of INR 2500 (year 2017).
• Initially only one Tea Shop was there but recent constructions after world cup have ruined the beauty of place.
• the road coming to takeoff site does not end here you can go further​ into the valley and explore it.

Best feeling. It was my 3rd paragliding and it was beyond normal. Flight time was around 15-20 minutes. Normal prices are 2000 for paragliding 500 for GoPro video and 500 for advanced Acrobatics. Do try if you're in Himachal.

Great views. I didn't go paragliding but camped there at 2900 meters. Bring warm clothes.I woke up to a lot of kites around me, a blue sky, and green mountain tops. Cannot recommend enough!

It's incredible site of Himachal Pradesh. People to kullu and Manali instead of coming here.... I don't know why. Bir is very beautiful and it is famous for paragliding and the photos I am going to upload are from the highest point from the paragliding starts

I did paragliding here which is also the highest point for paragliding in Asia. Unforgettable Experience! It is completely safe and one should do para gliding atleast for once in life to get a experience of how it feels to be in air, so light, so free, mesmerising beauty to see from up there.

This is amazing beautiful place nice to camping. Car takes u there. Silence is there. U can feel it. Many stars to see at night. Morning to evening time paragliding happens there this is world s second highest paragliding more than 2400 metres. Its beautiful experience. At camping bon fire was there veg and nong option was there. Have to tell before evening for order as they will bring from bir in cars. So better tell early. Tracking options also there to further places. Better to take guide. Bear may find u if u roam late evening in jungle.

Went to Billing Valley for Paragliding. One of the best experiences of my life.
We are taken to a cliff that is 8000 Ft above sea level.
And when we jump from the cliff riding a parachute, we see how insignificant the land below is.
Recommend everyone going tbere to try this. Your perspective of life changes.

This adventure starts in Bir, a small village in Himachal pradesh.U can stay here. Hotels r good but I would recommend Zostel which is extremely neat and budget friendly. Food is not provided but u will get plenty of yummy Chinese cruisene which is affordable provided by Tibetan refugees. Once u book the adventure, u will be given the time and picked up to be dropped at Billing, 14 kms from Bir, at an altitude of 2400 kms. It is thrilling ride with hairpin bends. Takes around half an hour. We went in October and weather was pleasant.
Excellent adventure provided your pilot is good enough and takes u in the air for 40 min.. Else they will wind up the entire experience in 15 min. U will have to protect ur eyes. So carry sunglasses. They give helmet but cover ur ears.

Awesome place. Close to nature in real sense. World famous paragliding spot. In winter snow . In summer no warm temperature. Bt in recent time bcoz of govt 's neglecting attitude and as usual Indian attitude exploiting dis place . Bt still better than McLeod ganj . . Cm n feel your self.

A beautiful place for adventure lovers for para gliding. Bir is the landing point and Biling is the take off point approximately 17 Kms from Bir. It takes about 40-45 mins to reach Biling and 15-20 mins to come down gliding. A must for all those seeking adventure. A nice experience. Charges are Rs 2500/- per person including video.

Although there is no availability of washroom and drinking water taps, so better carry your own water bottle to the top.
