Daijokyo Buddhist Temple

U should visit there , each and every temple in Bodhgaya provide u goosebumps. It is the temple looks like modern , very high stairs , and marbles on them , u have out your shoes , to enter into the temple , and every were u will find begger who are beginning , some people is kind hearted and some not , But I requested to everyone one help them , if u can't give them money provide food ,

Our next stoppage post visiting the Karma Temple was Daijokyo Buddhist Temple which showcases Japanese architectural pattern. One has to climb a few steps before reaching in front of the huge idol of Lord Buddha. It was really peaceful and serene. One of the boards read 'Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo' and another read 'Buddham Sharnam Gachami' 'Dhammam Sharnam Gachami' 'Sangham Sharnam Gachami' with the brief meaning in English too.

It is spread over a large area with structures with upper cover that probably are made to keep lighted lamps. The garden area can be better maintained and will certainly add another layer of beauty to the incredible shrine. There is accommodation for monks too and the huge Japanese monastery is next door that houses many practitioners of Buddhism.

The board at the entrance read that it was inaugurated by the then President of India, Giani Zail Singh in the year 1983.

Nice living. hot water not that reliable. Good dining and laundry service on site. Available meditation hall on site with buddha relic above hall giving good vibrations. A lot of mosquitoes in the room and got bitten badly by mosquitoes and from bed
