Hill View Park

Excellent place. You get a magnificent view of both Idukki and Cheruthoni dams from
the top of this park. The cool breeze and the majestic view of the water reservoir are amazing. There is a park for children. Certain adventure rides are also there for enthusiasts.

Hill view park is a great place to visit and you will find the best views of the entire dam. In the park there is some adventure activities and kids play area.

Beautiful park that gives you pristine view of the Idukki dam. Very well maintained by the Kerala government. It has adventure games for teens and young adults as well. Restrooms are clean too!

Perfect view point to see both the dams together. Also they have got some activities for kids in the park.

Very good place to visit in evening time with friends and family.

The park is beautiful and well kept.entrance fee is 20 rs for adults. We can see a panoramic view of Idukki dam from this park, that's the highlight. The view of sunset from here is also really nice. Lot of activities including boating is there (with separate charges for each and kids will enjoy it. The staff were all friendly. What I felt the best is, the toilets inside the park is kept neat and clean. It's worth visiting the park.

The best view of Idukki Dam is from here. Amazing location. We were the first visitors of the place on that day and that made the place extra beautiful. Very calm, and only the sound of always on wind. The wannabe photographer in me was extra happy as I was able to take some decent photos of the wonderful Idukki dam and reservoir and don't worry about others getting disturbed by me.
Even at 9am, the wind helps us from the heat. There were some adventure activity options, but we weren't interested in those. For me, it's one of those place you'll enjoy without the congestion of crowd. If you can reach by the time the place open, it's the ideal time to spend some time here. If you want to enjoy the view of Idukki Dam, I don't think there is a better place. One of the must visit places in Idukki.
P.S - If you are not familiar with Idukki Roads and not following Google map navigation, the deviation from main road can be missed easily, although it's the same route as the Idukki Dam entrance. So make sure you don't miss it. If the Idukki dam is open for tourists, you may see a lot of vehicles in this direction.

This is a very beautiful park, impeccably maintained with stunning views. The staff here is very very friendly and helpful. Also, the food is superb and we loved every thing that we tried at their restaurant. My family had an amazing time here and we would love to go back again.
Has reasonable parking available. Minimal charges for entry into the park. It's a very well maintained park, with clean walkways and surrounding, refreshment shops, adventure zone, toilets etc. The park provides a splendid panoramic view of Idukki and Cheruthoni dams together along with the Vaishali cave.

Nice place, we can see the beautiful dam views. Nice ambiance. There are many children and adult adventurous activities. Totally nice place.

Awesome destination. Its super clean and well maintained including toilets. This could be considered as an example for how a tourist place must be. The entry fees for children and adults are 10 and 20 rupees , respectively. You can experiance a breathtaking view of the largest arch dam here. Additionally , there quiet a lot of adventurous activities, such as zip line, which costs from 100- 200. Various activities are available for kids as well as adults. I really appreciate the tourism department for making this place well maintained

Visited on 27th December 2020. 20rs per adult entry, good parking space and very good views of the dam and reservoir. If you want a nice and not so busy place to just chill with your family then this place is a good spot with zip line and swings and small scale adventure activities for all ages.

Hill view park is a perfect bird eye view point of Idukki dam and an ideal place for picnic. Well maintained park with many adventure and activities to spend a day with your family.

I went there just to rest out the afternoon but the place literally shocked me!!
The architecture and extreme cleanliness deserves a mighty applause!!
