Great place to spend time with friends and family. The entire Tezpur can be seen from the hill. Beautiful environment chilling and for refreshment.

it is on top of dhenukhanda hill, a mixture of tree and natural rock, on the bank of mighty river brahmaputra, has a statue of virangana kanaklata.The whole tezpur and river brahmaputra is visible from the park. you can spend two to three hours easily there.

A really awesome serene place. Pretty well maintained, than I saw some few years back. It's on small hilltop and have a good view of both the mighty Brahmaputra and also of Tezpur city.
Place is mainly of huge rocks, creates a lots of blindspots, which have, well, became lover's nests. So people visiting, discretion advised.
Road from the city is good. Since last kilometer is kind of hilly, rickshaws refuses to go. But can be walkable. Vehicles can reach till the gate.

This is a great place to visit. Everyone comes here enjoys. Its main attractions are the boundless huge rocks and steps on the grasses. Each and every visitor will love the park situated on the chandmari hill, Tezpur. One can have a complete view of Tezpur town from the top of this park and can see the mighty Brahmaputra from this hill.

kanaklata rock garden is near river side of bhramhaputra in Tezpur. little bit far from the city. But can easily reach by private transport and Auto Rickshaws. Best to see is Natures beauty and Tezpur city from the top. and exactly opposite you can see River Bramhaputra.

Its a very wonderful place full of greenery , where one can find peace and serenity. Also the statues of martyr Kanaklata ,after whom this park has been named , of fighting the British Army shows and inspires us how much the people of our country has sacrificed for the freedom we enjoy today. And lastly , it is a place where one can go to mother nature and feel her wonderful beauty.

Awesome place in tezpur, u can get a full view of tezpur city from over here, it is a mountain park actually so its in hilly areas, u can get there by walking but that would be very challenging bcoz its in little height so u will need to walk alot.

I can't call it family park bcoz the area is fully covered with big rocks so its a good place for couples, so think once again if u want to go with ur family.

This park is named after a freedom fighter named Kanklata Barua. Kanaklata Barua(22 December 1924 – 20 September 1942) also called Birbala and Shaheed (martyr). She was an Indian freedom fighter from Assam who was shot dead while leading a procession bearing the National Flag during the Quit India Movement of 1942.
The place is very good, and also provides play for children's. This is not a kind of amusement park, but you as well as your kids would enjoy your visit here. There is a point in this park from where you can have an overall view of Tezpur. This park is surrounded by greenery, and the atmosphere here is really fresh.
The ticket fare for entering are very affordable. If you ever visit Tezpur, do visit this place.
