Little bit of traffic, park vehicle well before, walk a bit, take darshan from near shoe stand. Free food starts at 11 am.

A lot of shops for shopping but you have to be good at bargaining.

Sant Balumama born in 7th Aug. 1892 at village Akkol in Karnataka ... he was shepherd and was having spiritual knoledge like yogis ... he used to solve the problems of all sorts of peoples by his spiritual powers ... he was guru for many people ... at the age of 73 he died at village Admapur ... 4th sept. 1966 ... where his Samadhi is situated ... very nice and beautiful temple built in marble at Admapur ... temple is very clean ... lots of peoples come daily for prayers from dfferent places ... nice place ... must visit with friends and family

Lovely place to visit the roads to admapur from goa are also in good condition . You get positive vibes when you visit the temple . They also have coupon based system . One has to take a coupon of 5 rs to have lunch there.

This famous temple of Saint Balumama is located at a place called Adamapur in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It is around 1.5 hrs from main Kolhapur city by road.
Shri Balumama spent most of his life in and around Adamapur. He is consider a saint by millions of people in maharashtra, karnataka and andhra pradesh. This temple is built in his memory in Adamapur and is taken care of by “Shri Balumama Trust”.
The main temple is very clean, big and well maintained. It is built in fully white marble with beautiful carvings on it. The temple has a statue of a sheep and a dog.
There is also a small temple of Lord Dattatreya statue under ‘Audumbar’ tree.
There is a big tree in the temple premises and next is lighting tower
The temple is always crowded with the devotees. On Sundays and no moon day, there are more crowd than on other weekdays.
