Kharkhara Dam

Well maintained , clean and clear, full of eyes catching views. The ambiance was relaxing and fresh surrounded with nature. Good for picnic with family and friends.

nice place to see natural beauty...
roads are good last approx 5 km are not so good but place is nice must visit once...
just for 1 day picnic type place ...
no restaurant or any shops near that place...
u can cook food there no proper parking...
good for picnic or family party.. no entry fees or registration required.....

Awesome place to visit, chill with friends or family. Beautiful sunset and calming sound of water. Get your food, friends, family and sound system and enjoy your weekend. At front there is a dam where people use to bath and swim the flow is not that fast. Also there's huge river beside the dam, climb the stairs and go backside you'll get an unexpected view.. You have to bring all your need there because there is not any shop as this place is in outer...........

It's a beautiful place.... it takes time to reach their but once you are there the view , the sound of the water n the refreshing breeze will soothe you so much that you wouldn't want to return...

kharkhara dam is situated at balod district near to dondi lohara block.the distance from balod is approximately 30km.

The dam is good for picnic and is quite beautiful specially at sunrise and sunset.

Nice place for picnic. Please do carry food and water . Resort and shops are not available there.
