This place is well protected by forest department.One hour treking leads to beautiful waterfalls .You can visit ayyanar temple there..Bring your family during monsoon and bring food also no shops are here to dine.You can spend atleast half a day here

Since it's under reserve forest range, entry is restricted to specific dates like Pradhosham to next day of Amavasya & Pradhosham to next day of Pournami
Since this trecking route crosses through many forest stream, during rainy days entry is not permitted

Must see location at RJPM. There will be a trek into deep forest and a Waterfall at the end. You are free to take bath. Families are much welcomed...! The best time to visit is November to January. Trek for short time period (Very easy). Take auto if you came by public transport. Bike and car can be park at the best place where you get shadow from the sunlight.

Must check If there water flowing. Otherwise you got mocked...!

One of the best places to visit near Watrap, Srivilliputtur. Can experience the native vibes and if the season is right you could get fresh mangoes from the garden.

Peaceful place to hangout when it's rainy season.... Very near to srivilliputhur... Entrance ticket 20rs per person and 10rs for bike 50rs for car...

Went to the Mahalingam Temple here. It was great to connect with nature. Only during Full moon and No moon day we can visit temple. The path to the temple is covered with lush green trees and bushes and waterfalls. Be aware of the animals, cuz we saw fresh loads of elephant dung.

Awesome place!! Heaven for trek lovers. Need Forest Department permission to access. Best recommended.

Its a nice place to visit, but if you're coming on a day long visit, kindly bring some food stuff with you.

The Grizzled Squirrel Wildlife Sanctuary(GSWS), also known as Srivilliputhur Wildlife Sanctuary, was established in 1988 to protect the vulnerable grizzled giant squirrel (Ratufa macroura). Occupying an area of 485.2 km2, it is bordered on the southwest by the Periyar Tiger Reserve and is one of the best preserved forests south of the Palghat Gap
