Khodiyar Mandir, Rajpara stands on the shore of the beautiful Lake Tataliya. The temple lies on the Bhavnagar - Rajkot highway, just before Rajpara village.

Built by Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji of Bhavnagar, the Khodiyar Mandir railway station is on the Bhavnagar - Dhola rail line, making it easily accessible for the local devotees.

Khodiyar temple, named after the principle deity, venerated by the royal family and the natives around, was built in the year 1911. The temple visited by thousands of pilgrims is located on the banks of the Khodiayar Lake, which attracts tourists from all the surrounding areas.

The temple is said to fulfill most wishes and hence is usually crowded. Although the crowd keeps moving and yet there is enough time for each one to pray peacefully.
There is a bhojanalay and a vishram gruh which is not clean at all.

The atmosphere was also good and there was no rush to visit the temple as we checked in weekdays

Jay khodiyar...... I visited the temple last Sunday on khodiyar ma's birthday.. every year we visited the temple and celebrated the function with band baja ,Bhajan and kirtan, and full enjoyment of the pice full etmosphier . I was planed Every year around 125 people's visited via private travels and enjoy the garba and many more activities in campus.... When you come to the temple please visiting the whole area, main temple , tataniya dhara, seven sister temple ( Aadhar Devi temple ) and photographi in campus aria and enjoy all eminites , Jay khodiyar..

Khodiyar Maa temple is a place full of positive vibes whenever I visit this place. Khodiyar Mandir, Rajpara Bhavnagar is a Hindu Religion Temple of Maa Khodiyar Goddess. Very clean and wide for a parking place. Crowded place during the weekends and festivals.

Very very peaceful and important Shakti peeth .

Regulated nicely.
35 kg crocodile made of silver is kept in premises which is vahana of devi ji.
Maa sits in small sanctum sanctoram.
Prasad is free.

Very good temple. Mainly 2 temples are there. Main temple is for Khodiyar Mataji and other temple which is on a small hill beside main temple is for 7 sisters of Khodiyar ma. Temple premises are very well organized and maintained.

Holy Place Temple of Khodiyar Mata. People who visit Bhavnagar are always Visit this place. Folklore Says There is Kund -A Pond of Water where Mata Khodiyar be absorbed. Small Market area where you can buy Prasad, Toys, Handicraft Articles etc. There is small Hill on its top there is a temple of Seven Sisters of khodiyar Mata.

This place is located in bhavnagar city, its just 18 km from city this is very old temple built buy maharaja of bhavnagar.

This temple have its own belief, people from different different state visit this temple due to its popularity.

Temple have huge parking facility for car,bus and bikes, there are separate parking for each so no issue of parking

Temple have its own gues house where people from out state can state in very nominal charges and temple have its own bhojan shala where anyone can take dinner free.

Behind the temple there is huge dam named khodiyar dam when its full with water its amazing view too see.

If you planing to visit temple then if possible then visit during weekdays, on sunday its little rush of people.

So we took an auto from Sehor Station to Kodiyar Mandir which costs us 250rs and we reached within 25 mins. It was Monday and the mandir was too crowdy but nevermind. The only thing which was great is about the environment of this mandir. Like it gives you such a positive, energetic vibes. Uploading the last picture just for your reference that you don't bonk your head like me haha! See the boy standing. So you can understand the height level.

And the back side of the mandir they serves Prasad (food) Don't know much about the timings but I had Prasad around 11:30am.

A beautiful temple dedicated to Maa Khodiyar. A very peaceful and tranquil place and attract positive energies. There are food outlets, restaurants, stalls for Prasad and gardens to enjoy with family. Lapsi is the main prasad offered to Maa Khodiyar.

A great temple to visit with family. Even though the Khodiyar temple, on the outskirts of Bhavnagar (15km), was built only as recent as early 20th century, it has a staunch following amongst devotees of Janbai (Khodiyar Ma). The temple lies on the edge of the Tataniya Wali Lake and has a ropeway at the back that connects the base to a shrine on the top of a hill. Lapsi (broken wheat dessert) is the main prasad of the temple.

The temple was very neat and clean and there were plenty of benches available for spending a good time with family. Near the temple there are multiple small restaurants and instant photo vendors and small toy shops and, the most impressive mini-ropeway is also here.The temple has a peaceful environment and here there is a holy lake also available. Many devotees go near the lake and wash their hands and feet through this holy water.

Stay here for 1 night...Cheap stay at dharamshala..AC room for 2 of Rs600 + Rs50/bed, if you need extra bed..clean bathroom and room as well...
Nearby location to visit Nishkalank Mahadev temple in the middle of the sea...
Time to visit Morning 11 to 3 Pm (low tide)

Place is truly spiritual & peaceful.
Best time for visit is in early morning as no people rush at all.

It has big parking space for your vehicle.

Rickshaw charges from Nari chowkdi to khodiyar template is around 15 to 20 rupee per person.

Dharmshala and guest house are not opened yet after covid-19, but you will find a hall where you can eat food and take rest as long as you want.

localist provide you hot water (coast Rs.10/bucket) For taking shower in the morning.

In the food options there are Hotels which provides proper Gujrati, Panjabi thali for lunch.
