Temple of Shri Chile Maharaj at Paijarwadi, near Panhala. It is built in the shape of a turtle. Very calm, spiritual and relaxing place it is.

Shri Sadguru Shankar Dattatrya Chile Maharaj Samadhi Mandir is located at Shri Kshetra Paijarwadi in Panhala Tehsil at Kolhapur district.

This temple is dome liked shape and this dome is designed in such a way that it appears like Tortoise.

Shri Sadhguru Chile Datta Maharaj 🙏🏼🏵. This is the samadhi place of Shri Sadhguru Chile Datta Maharaj. It is located in Paijarwadi, kolhapur- ratnagiri road. It is in shape of tortoise, as it is said Shri Chile Datta maharaj favourite animal was tortoise. Inside it is of marble and in the shape of dome. It is very peaceful, best place for mediation. It is also said that Shri Sadhguru Shankar Maharaj, was elder brother of Shri Sadhguru Chile Datta Maharaj.

The place is very clean and maintained. Lots of bhakat visit the place daily. Outside the math there is a room where all Shri Sadhguru Chile Datta Maharaj photos are placed. You will also get darshan of the 'Paduka' from there. Overall the place is blessed with presence of Shri Chile Datta Maharaj. Everybody should visit this place and must take blessings.

Feeling blessed and happy. Very pleasant and positive atmosphere. You will definitely find peace here. Temple structure is attractive, a tortoise shaped.

One of the best temple from state of art architecture point of view and also got award for the same. Very holy place and important Datta sthan. Best thing of temple is, its in Tortoise shape and huge with no Column inside temple. Also, place is quite and provide positive vibes.
One must visit the temple while going to Ratnagiri, as it is on highway only.
Chile Maharaj samadhi is here and people from outside India too visit this temple. Very Divine place and you get inner peace.

The holy place Paijarwadi is the repository place of Shri Chile Maharaj. His favourite animal was tortoise, so looking at his love for tortoise, the devotees decided to construct the repository temple in the shape of tortoise. The features of the temple are: It is a pillar less structure of tortoise shaped dome having 60 x 80 x 20 high auditorium. It also has a domed slab, marbled floor, a canopy similar to tortoise’s head. It is adjoined by four small rooms for meditation, attractively carved marble windows for ventilation and 50 feet long place around the temple for circumambulation. There is an attractive stone wall between circumambulating place and courtyard.
