Being a Govt. College, some facilities are not modern as few other Govt. Universities. One of the popular University in the state of Odisha. Atmosphere is good for students. It's near to Gopalpur beach. Parking facility is available. Transportation is good.

Berhampur University is one of thr best state University of Odisha. The campus is located in Bhanja Vihar area of Brahmapur, Ganjam District of Odisha. It is one of the most beautiful, Clean, Green and Vibrant campus of the State. The University has many Departments, schools, centres including three Centre of Excellence. The University is one of the best focal point of education, research and Training in South Odisha. Campus has best teaching facility, advanced class rooms, state of art Conference halls, well equipped laboratories, hostel, guest house, library, Sports arena and other infrastructure. The University regularly conducts Seminar, Conference and workshop on several important Themes and provides insight for research for students. Placement record is also promising. University is located in lapo nature of Gopalpur beach and dense forest. Rangeilunda Airstrip is walkable distance from main campus. The University is well connected by road, rail and air. Nearest railway station is Berhampur. Many visiting places are near the campus. Come and learn from here.

The University present campus known as Bhanja Bihar, the number of alumni-es studied here. Berhampur University offers different Master degree, self-financing and diploma courses. Very good experience to study here.

Being a student of this university I'm going to miss the campus soon! Beautiful surrounding, lovely people and memories that I have made here are worth it!

Located 13 km from berhampur railway station.Don't go through auto they charge heavy amount. you can easily go by city bus is available any time simply go to nearest bus station and take it. Good administrative staff.

Firstly the name of the place Bhanja vihar is a tribute to the great poet Kabi samrat Upendra Bhanja which shows its love for literature and culture...This is a good place for study and the Gopalpur beach near it is a very good place for njoy...Transport system is also good...Green and pollution free environment...nice campus...Qualitatively Developing University....Overally a fantastic place...

A good place with many faculties.. Provides good scope for learning. Nice library.

Moments that can’t forget throughout the life

I don't know about academics but the atmosphere is damn good here near to the coastal site Gopalpur. N overall transportive communication to railway station n Berhampur market place is very flexible. A big campus with renovated buildings.

Established in 1967, Berhampur University is one of the oldest universities of Odisha. It is located on a 250+ acres of sprawling green campus near Berhampur City, the education hub of Odisha. It’s motto is “Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya”, to become a beacon light of knowledge to eliminate ignorance “from darkness, lead me to light”.
Spreading over an area of about two hundred fifty acres the university is twelve kilometres and 5 kilometers away from the Berhampur City and Sea-beach of Gopalpur respectively.

It's a very good State Public University situated in a comparatively less crowded area which is about 10 kms away from the Berhampur City and the Gopalpur Seabeach is just 5 kms from the University. It's a very good varsity for higher studies and researches. It's campus is much greenery with so many leafy trees. So many natural landscapes and realms are not so far, which will refresh you all from the hectic schedules. All academic, Library and administrative buildings are wheelchair accessible with parking lot for it.

This is one of the best University in Odisha that why. and the reputation this university has is mind blowing specially around Odisha. along with that a number of chilling places are located around Berhampur which refreshes us time to time.

I don't know much about other departments, but the English department is very good as the discipline is more in the department and regular classes take place.
