Gorakhnath Mahadev Temple

Can't dare to write anything about the lord.
Place is quiet and cool under banyan tree. One banyan tree spread over the total area. You shall feel great on visiting the place. One clean pay for use toilet is there near the entry gate. Enough parking place is there. Four wheeler parking fee is 30 rupees.

A ancient temple of Lord Shiva. About 67 km from centre of Bhubaneswar.There is enough space for vehicles parking with minimal fees controlled by locals.within Temple cooked prashad is given.if you miss the timing then no worries you can have it at a near by prashad centre at cost of Rs. 60/-.

What a wonder Banyan tree. Single tree spreads over the whole campus. You can feel the power of Baba Gorekhnath in the campus. Very cool surroundings. Must visit

Guru Gorakhnath was one of the prime naths in this tradition. He is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva and is known as a Maha Yogi of ancient India. He is considered one of the most influential founders of the Nath Hindu monastic movement in India.

On the way back from Maa Sarala temple, stopped at Baba Gorakhnath temple. It’s barely 2.5 kms from Cuttack-Paradip Road.

The place where the temple is located is very calm and peaceful. It’s a genuine place for meditation. Covid restrictions were still in place, so couldn’t go near Baba’s sinhaasan.

Had bhogo (bhata,dalma,mixed vegetable,khata and khiri) near the car park which wasn’t that bad.

Such a calm and peace environment.On the way to sarala temple,one can find this place.

One of the best place to go with frnds and family. Bet u haven't see this type of nature anywhere else. It is near the railway station (1km approx). You can walk or take auto. Around 52 km from cuttack. Total of 4 train is going from cuttack to gorakhnath. Must visit this place.
